All the "hand washing" and "social distancing" hokum is not going to save them once many of the REAL scientists never heard out on this start getting heard.

Luckily, we will have several populations to test and squelch all the scammers and liars.

The big takeaway from this is something I post constantly here, NEVER give any money, trust, etc. to governments or bureaucrats, necessary evils, than is required. Not a cent more, and that includes scammy contractors, grantees, and the whole lying, incompetent, corrupt, bungling, absurdly expensive lot of them.

See especially from 10 minutes on.

Tell us more about your complete ignorance of actuarial realities/practice, statistics, law and economics, and the law of large numbers, let alone risk management as a whole. Fascinating.

I could go on all day. The more important question is how many of these ACTUAL SCIENTISTS, not bureaucrats, are being featured on cable news or the Big 3. Hmm? Wonder why not? Wonder why we keep hearing from these "media" doctors and bureaucrats instead of SCIENTISTS.

How does that contradict the historical data provided? I don't actually expect an answer.

~ If I am going to ask someone who is already dead how about I ask one of over 30 thousand who died of the flu this season in the U.S. ? Are their deaths less important ...?

I've watched 15 minutes of this video and I would like to update some of the numbers he mentioned.

In regards to the Princess Diamond Cruise Ship, he noted a fatality rate of 1% because 7 have died. That number is now 11 and more importantly, there are still 82 active cases, including 10 which are serious/critical. So, at a minimum, the mortality rate is 1.5% from that ship and could be significantly higher.

In regards to Iceland, he mentioned 1 death and an estimate of 3500 infected based on the number of tested conducted. Since that point, they have tested around 9.3% of the population and have a confirmed number of 1616 cases. Extrapolate that out and you see that approximately 17,372 cases or ~5% of the population. Of the confirmed cases, there are now 6 deaths and roughly 2/3rds are still sick.

The numbers of those currently dead are not guesswork, except in the sense that they are UNDERestimated. I'm sorry that the facts threaten your political agenda, but they remain facts. They aren't any less dead just because it is ideologically inconvenient for you.

Want to test out a Shilldar Rube Goldberg contraption? The very instant, and I mean the -very- instant, that the "talking points" lists get the idea that not many are going to die after all, and somehow Trump can be blamed for the shutdown, presto change-o, ALL narratives from the usual suspects here will INSTANTLY pivot from "all these mountains of bodies Trump caused by not shutting down moar" to the completely unworkable and utterly inconsistent "Trump didn't need to shut down and millions died due to his actions."

    Watch. Watch and see.

Let there be no mistake, the convenient conglomerates who benefited, the short stocks from US Congressmen. There was massive and I mean MASSIVE fraud at the highest levels of government, including hijacking the Trump Administration. That fraud does need to be investigated and I suspect because said fraud might link to some left allies, they may very well close the commission or give us a half-baked report: AKA The Kennedy reports.

No, you don't have to go through all that trouble but you might try reading comments in order to get your answers rather than asking the same questions repeatedly.

That's good news. Still, half the nation is vaccinated for the flu. So that firewall is the containment which keeps the flu deaths at their current levels. Covid19 is many times deadlier and there is no vaccine to act as a firewall. Hence the efforts to contain it until a vaccine is developed. Whether it is hyped or not is a matter of opinion. IMO, Trump is trying to balance the liveliness of the economy with that of life itself, and is doing a great job considering the many directions he's being pulled.
