The NY Times can publish what they want, even though their circulation dropped in 10 years from 1.03 million to dropped to 487 thousand in 2018. They should keep on that path of success.

No of course not. God Forbid the general public ever learns the truth about anything. It would destroy the constant fantasies the left stream media have been selling for 3 years.

Umm, there's this thing, called the internet.

You may have heard about it.

It's all the rage with the kids these days.

Are you saying they have simply retained those subscriptions online? Any evidence of that?

I am fairly confident that if you were to research it their online subscriptions have increased exponentially while their print subscriptions have declined.

This isn't unique to the NYT.

Just about every major newspaper in America has experienced the same thing.

"The New York Times Company on Wednesday reported first-quarter results that were better than expected, as gains in digital advertising and subscriptions outpaced the inexorable decline of its once-mighty print business."

Advertising and subscriptions does not qualify as an answer, those are two very separate things...

The NY Times has a website as well. You have to subscript there too.

Should the President's daily briefs be covered by the media?

~ That depends on what the meaning of the word "media" is . ..

Like every print newspaper in America.

Again, there's this thing called the internet.

Beginning late in the 20th century many Americans started relying on it solely for their daily news.

As a result, newspaper subscriptions waned.

Look, I get it. Your fuhrer doesn't like the NYT, so that means you don't like it either.

    There's a word for that.....lemm something......but, I digress.

Sorry there is no song to reference for the utter incompetence it would take not to realize that advertising gains do not reflect on whether lost paper subscribers were picked up online or remained lost...

Trump's presence at those briefings is completely irrelevant. He knows SFA and will use the occasions for political advantage. That is Trump. People need facts, not bumpf. Down here, in my State, Queensland, while the Premier will make major announcements, she stays well out of the technical stuff which she leaves to the appropriate medical people. She does not share the 'stage' with them. We are doing okay. 3000 tested in the last 24 hours, only 10 positive. 0.33 rate. Curve is flattening very well, positive tests are diminishing. Testing is increasing.

Huh? Is English not your native tongue?

It's okay if it isn't, and would, frankly, explain a lot.

So you are trying to say their subscription numbers don’t include online? Do you have evidence of that? And why would they do that?

Do advertisers regularly advertise on platforms that are in decline?

Let that soak in for a moment.

The NYT reports that ad revenue is up, as are digital subscriptions, while print subscriptions continue to decline.

As it is with every newspaper in America.

CNN & MSNBC does not have to cover Trump’s coronavirus briefs.

They probably cover it because it helps their viewership numbers.

They could pass on it and go back to having the same audience as a 3rd grade spelling bee.

We get information from these briefings, some days the only actual relevant information CNN and the like put out. They should be mandatory for any mass media to cover in a time like this. The media is more than welcome to disagree with the president or fact check his information, but to not carry it puts their viewers at risk of not being informed of pertinent information to their well-being. No, the president is not a paragon of honesty, but by the same token the mainstream media has been known to blatantly lie a time or ten thousand as well.
