Barr says Russia probe was started 'without basis'

Attorney General William Barr believes the Russia investigation that shadowed President Donald Trump for the first two years of his administration was started without any basis and amounted to an effort to “sabotage the presidency,” he said in an interview with Fox News Channel that aired Thursday.

Barr offered no support for his assertion that the FBI lacked a basis for opening the investigation and made no mention of the fact that the bureau began its probe after a Trump campaign adviser purported to have early knowledge that Russia had dirt on Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.

As Trump is presently revising history, to exhonerate himself from HOAX matters, now Barr, is excusing their decision to oust IGs, and reinvent the charges agaist Dems, and start anew interest in Biden persecution.

Barr has stuck his nose in every facet of controversy lately, and will be instrumental in creating false narratives.

How much longer can this go on? I expect the narrative to also create the ability for Trump to blare fraud, and such, if and when he is ousted. GOD help us all, in that interim, when Trump is trying to sabotage the USA, leading up to his leaving.

What he understands is, when he leaves, his businesses, his children's businesses, and all things related, will no longer have the protections of a supplicant DOJ, replete with a corrupt AG. He will wind up in prison, his children likely as well. So, he will fight any attempts to get rid of him.

Expect tricks, traps and corrupt games played, to stop Democrats from voting. The level af anger presently, is nothing compared to the levels I expect. Our country may never recover a sense of unity, or universal citizenship.

Coming from Barr this shouldn't surprise any one who knows what's going on.

 

Trump is signaling that he's ready to suspend the elections, and Democrats need to start figuring out how they're going to deal with that. They ignore the signals at their own peril, and at the peril of the Democratic Republic.

 

I swear,... sometimes it feels like we get posters here who view this board as the easy bake oven of narrative testing... But it's a good laugh usually. What I really find amusing about this one is that one actually has to have been a rock somewhere in a desert to not have been exposed to just how ridiculous the initial claim was, and how laughable it was, and just how treasonous those who peddled it were. We watched as the narrative floated, sank, struggled for life and has now permanently been laid to rest as the farce and the attempted coup it was. The unfortunate truth is that the political blok of Hillary used the government, used Obama to attempt to unwind a national election. Simple stuff here. And the idea that liberals like the OP are again trying to swing their fecal narrative speaks volumes about how unlikely Uncle Joe is as a viable candidate. So, the left offers "vote by mail" as their next ploy to steal power in this country. I suspect that we'll be seeing more and more of this kind of BS posting here, as the campaign for Biden tests out their various attack ads.

 

What is clear is, you consider any oversight a plot to GET Trump, and consider any win, to be fraud.

I did not vote for Trump and consider him a venal man of very low degree, but the Russiagate thing was a frame-up of Trump.

The Russians did not steal Hillary's election, and the Dems broke a bunch of laws in getting that nonsensical story going.

I find it funny that now over one hundred minute of secret FBI interview was taped with Poppadopulas where he denied instantly that there was nothing to do with any Russian Collusion. These tapes were not admitted into evidence in any of the impeachment hearings. Why? they would have blown the lid off the "COUP"!

What we have learned is, the protections in our democracy are norms and traditions, which Trump has been probing from the beginning.

There is only the collective will of the people. EN MASSE, and if they are afraid to gather, to do the will of the people, Trump may feel that he has the opportunity he desires. As Putin has ALLOWED others to declare him eligible far beyond his term, so will Trump use BARR to create that possibility. Maybe thru martial law, public health, or whatever polls will at Fox News.

 

Barr's interview is a good window into what is going to happen. For the first time I actually believe that people will go to jail. We are still waiting for those peepee tapes. They were supposed to be released years ago. The Mueller investigation is the only investigation that wreaked more havoc on itself than it did to the object of the investigation and the damage to the Mueller team hasn't even really started yet. Now that's what I call progress. Yay Mueller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could the general election be postponed or canceled?
The date of the general election is set by federal law and has been fixed since 1845. It would take a change in federal law to move that date. That would mean legislation enacted by Congress, signed by the president and subject to challenge in the courts.

Also, although I don't put any level of hypocrisy past the Gross Old Party, their fight to keep the Wisconsin primary open last Tuesday should be a clear symbol they want all elections to occur as scheduled.

The second statement is, of course, sarcasm...
