They don't know what specialists they might need until they get into it. It will likely be many specialists that will be called for hours or days, but who do not need to be there full time. duhhh

Huh? They’ve worked in govt for years now. They don’t need medical experience this is about reopening the economy. Mark Cuban and Jeff Bezos have neither as well...should they not be in the committee?

Trump happened because Obama and Hillary happened.
It took a Carter to give us Reagan, it took an Obama to give us a trump.
    Sir Isaac anyone?

Amazing things prior to the Chinese virus. Lowest UE in modern history, end to the Korean War, etc

no it’s not. The docs are on a seperate committee. Obviously working with this group as well, as there is overlap.

It is more than a medical decision. They are trying to open up the economy one business at a time. An expert in business and other specialties working with medical experts will attempt to make an evaluation whether that specific business can operate without further spreading the virus. Likely most businesses will require special procedures. Someone will come up with those special procedures and medical experts will evaluate whether those procedures will be effective.

In many ways, the medical expert may be the least required once they spell out a set of rules. For example, they might say the workers must maintain a specific distance from each other and as the products move out of one production area, they have to be decontaminated and the workers cannot come in direct contact with next group of workers handling that product. They would not need a medical expert to evaluate every specific situation once they agree on a set of rules.

As I said before, you don't need every specialty on a council. They can call those specialties in as needed.

The Democrats should form their own council.

The Council to Prolong the Suffering to Make Trump Look Bad

The usual suspects could chair it- Schifty, Pelosi, AOC, Auntie Maxine, Chuckie Schooms, etc...

The folks listed in the OP aren't the total group....there are over 100 people including Jeff Bezos, Mark Cuban, Roger Goodell, Jay Monahan etc.

Very diverse group of people from many industries. Excellent job.

Actually a real leader gets experts together and takes their advice. Obama wasn't a real leaders and shot from the hip and often failed so much

That is the problem with people when the exaggerate, they exaggerate so much that what they are saying is impossible. I don't expect anything else out of you.

The key word being experts. Ivanka and Kushner and most of the others do not qualify!

Not really...they ran businesses, made a ton of money, managed employees...no question about that.

And your actual evidence is? And that of course has no relevance to the question of how and when to reopen business.

Because they have publicly released their Fin Disclosure forms.

Sure running a successful businesses is relevant to the economy and re-opening.

Regardless though...who else on the council? Do you even know who all else is on there?

Because of course that has absolutely nothing to do with managing a pandemic. Nor does it have any relevance to managing the safety of employees while restarting business when their is inadequate testing for the virus.

They aren’t changed with managing the pandemic.

sure running a business with employees gives people experience with dealing with their safety.
