Your trying to excuse them as if they just walked into it January of 2009, they took the Congress a year before the recession began and two years before the situations you were posting. Ball was in their court to pass measures that would help mitigate that and soften the blow and limit the depth and length of the recession. They totally failed. If you want to blame someone for how bad it was when Obama moved from the Senate to the White House then blame the Democrat Congress of which he was a part.

We had the WORST recovery in modern history under HIS policies which failed BY HIS OWN MEASURE. And no I don't know your statement to be accurate. And historically the worst the recovery the faster and stronger the recovery. Compare that recovery with the recovery after the dot.com bubble burst and trillions were lost in a total market meltdown in that recession followed immediately by the 911 attacks which wrecked the economy again.
