His premise is faulty.. if he thinks people in poor countries are having kids because many of them die , when they die they would not be part of the population....

    Logic.. man.. logic.

Afraid to read what Gates actually said. Got it. No surprise. Tip: Snopes cites its sources. More information shouldn't scare you. You don't need to read any commentary from Snopes to understand. You can just read the facts that you are running for your life to escape from.

    I quoted what he said.

I quoted what Snopes claims he meant.
Snopes opinion is not a source nor a fact its an opinion.
You have no idea what you are speaking about in your rush to attack.

Good thing he admitted that this sounds counterintuitive and then explained why it is true, and good thing the facts back him up on this. Turns out, back here in reality (for those who value reality more than kneejerk, religious Gates-hate) people have fewer children when they have greater confidence that those children will survive. But I understand that the facts must be abandoned when they threaten political indoctrination. Well, I don't actually understand it, but I anticipate it. We'll probably see it on every thread page from here on out.

I've rushed to the truth by providing context, which you still run away from in every single post and you have still failed multiple times to address. You have no idea what you are speaking about in your rush to bury the truth the moment it challenges your political indoctrination.

Concern for reality isn't bigotry. You may be an agnostic when it comes to the existence of God, but you fail to show the same sort of educated skepticism when it comes to the fake news claims against Gates, which you repeat despite objective evidence proving your claims false.

Quoted =/= addressed. You failed to address any of it, showing you don't even bother to read what I've written or what the Gates's have said. At least not when it challenges your preconceptions.

In society after society, he saw, when the mortality rate falls—specifically, below 10 deaths per 1,000 people—the birth rate follows, and population growth stabilizes. “It goes against common sense,” Gates says. Most parents don’t choose to have eight children because they want to have big families, it turns out, but because they know many of their children will die.

“If a mother and father know their child is going to live to adulthood, they start to naturally reduce their population size,” says Melinda.

"sounds" good until you address their blanket support for abortion..

His evidence to back up his logic seems to be "he saw"

    Even your own source says..

But Gates’ view on childhood mortality contribution to population growth is increasingly discussed in the scientific literature and is still subject to debate. What is not up to debate are the intentions of the Bill and Melinda Gate’s Foundation with regard to vaccines and population growth, as articulated by Bill and Melinda Gates in their Foundation’s 2017 Annual Letter:

'Because some people are idiots' is usually a good starting point. Also go with 'ideology reduces people to functional idiocy'. That should cover most examples.

I'll get to the abortion if you'll admit your mistake here -- he and his wife supported vaccines because they reduce child mortality rates. This does, indeed, reduce population growth. Do you now admit you understand these facts? If you will admit so, I'll move onto your abortion argument. A simple yes/no will suffice.

Where does their expertise on these matters come from?

Living humans increase population.. Dead do not.. No i dont agree what you have been saying is factual and your own link goes over that there is plenty of debate for their "facts"

The idea that more current living humans automatically = higher increase in future population is braindead nonsense. It rejects basic critical thinking.

Regardless, I'll happily link to the resources that Gates Foundation referenced for their claim if you really want to say you haven't read it. Whether you agree with the Gates's justification, that's still their justification. You can argue they are wrong, but even if they are wrong the agenda being pushed by the OP is still wrong.

The OP's argument is about the Gates's motivations. You get that, right?

I did not say that.. I am well aware of the plummeting ferility rates in most countries..

See you simply can not discuss a topic.. You insult and you want people to argue things they never said nor thought.

Wait it went from facts facts facts to "justification".. How nice...

For someone that isnt obsessed with trump 24/7 you seem to bring him up in every thread.

I watched a stuffed pepper recipe on YouTube this morning and someone brought up trump in the comments, was that you?

Wasn't me, but that's an apt comparison....

And you may or may not have clicked on the link, but it wasn't about Donald Trump... just his dippy daughter and it was pretty funny...

Finally, this certainly cannot be considered a real thread anyway, since there is a conspiracy forum on this site...

The petition is not a conspiracy... Do you work for Media Matters? Or do you just try to shut down things you dont like for kicks?

Let's give a comparative example: Monsanto. It's BANNED in Europe. B A N N E D. Not so much here in America. These corporations have indeed engaged in this massive money laundering scheme and if we had a competent DOJ, we would investigate the Fauci/Birx/Gates connections, which has reared its ugly heads.
