Fear mongering. I would suggest turning off CNN and getting some fresh air.

After Katrina there was little infrastructure left and dead bodies were kept moldering in dry vans in 95 deg. heat outside Memorial Hospital in Gulfport and other locations because there was no other choice. There was no electricity for weeks and what generators that were not destroyed were needed to treat the living. And many of the dead already stunk real bad before the firemen could clear the debris to get to them. In catastrophes with unknown ranges of hurt there is little control, little that is normal. Nature rules and will not have it any other way.

I saw it on Fox. Still doesn't answer the question as to why we have trailers storing dead bodies when in the past we never needed them.

Okay, then I would suggest turning off FOX and getting some fresh air.

It's happened in the past too (such as with Hurricane Katrina). It's nothing to freak out over.

I understand the Katrina angle however it doesn't answer the question as to why if normally during flu season we don't see trailers parked outside with bodies in them. You may not be able to answer it but it still stands that their is a difference between this flu season and past ones. I'm sure there must have been deaths from non-coronavirus flu victims as well.

How do I get food then?

You say I will be isolated from the virus?
    '
So too were all those dead folks in nursing homes.

Apparently the virus finds a way if it's spread wide enough huh

Yet you are willing to let people die from suicide brought on by the travel restrictions.

Yup, there sure is. Plenty of flu seasons have been worse than this one. This one actually isn't all that horrible, comparatively.

COVID-19 has been around for longer than two months. It's been around since late 2019, which actually isn't all too far into the beginning of the flu season. It's just hung around for longer than normal because of all the government mandated "social distancing" "safer at home" "flatten the curve" policies.

Government is making this into a more serious issue than need be, especially economically (as significant inflation is now on the way in the coming months). This is yet another example of government creating a problem out of thin air so that they can "solve" it, slowly chipping away at personal freedoms/liberties in the process, leading everyone to become dependent upon "daddy government".

Liberals are going to one day wish that they had listened to the various warnings and guidance of conservatives. Thankfully, the Bride of Christ is going to be raptured before the great tribulation comes upon this Earth.

No, those death numbers ARE being inflated. New York and Michigan, for sure, are doing it. This has been documented.

How did you expect adequate protocols NOT to cause 'economic woe'? What fantasy world is that?

What? How do travel restrictions cause suicide?

it was to save lives, by not overloading the medical system, if one needs medical care and can't get it, they may die

I do not think the Trump admin did this for nefarious reasons, maybe bad data for their models, but I think they felt there was no choice

the problem is that some states did not even reach the curve yet, being way below the curve was not the goal, spreading the cases out over time was the goal

How many new infections are created, by "flattening the curve", in order to prevent 1 death from system overload?

Not what I said. I said that all these draconian measures have done is cause economic woes. They haven't accomplished anything else.

Have you missed all the Trump briefings? From day one he has had but one comment after another and that was how to re-open the economy. Two weeks ago le left it up to the governors to make that decision. What happens to each of those individual states is now on the shoulders of those governors.

This could happen, that could happen, this might happen, that might happen, unnamed sources say this will happen, an anonymous source says that will happen, a CDC model says this will happen, a study says that will happen.

There's so much MSM bullshit on the TV that it just goes to the outer ear, but it doesn't get in anymore.

You lost all sense of rationality with the first sentence. Congrats on striking out on the first pitch.

Tejas is opening Friday in a big way. Might be best if you stay away from here...
