Sounds like a mistake, censors or no censors.
Whatever that looks like to you...
...despite my refusal either to report rule violations by my opponents or to suck up to management, I do not find it the least bit difficult to engage atheists and stay south of 30 infraction points.
Sure, it's as astonishing as cold weather is to an Eskimo.
A day on the internet without that is like a day without sunshine.
If they get that outa you, you're part of the problem; and if you don't understand that, it's high time you did.

Kneejerk denialism does not alter the Conservative Judge's Findings of Fact one iota!

"Creationism" is based upon theist superstition.

Evolution is based upon FACTUAL Scientific data.

Since you cannot refute those Findings of Fact you resort to puerile ad homs which are PF Rule violations.

No one is forcing you to post those violations. You are 100% responsible for the CONTENT of your posts just as I am responsible for the content of my own posts. Blaming others for what you post says volumes.

I was notified that some of my replies were deleted. Hillman, I am not arguing with you. Do your posts address the OP? If not, we have nothing left to discuss here.

That is the reason I'm staying out of their pretend "debate" and focusing on the question I asked about them. Now they have a problem.

What you are posting are lies and evolution is a THEORY with NO such scientific data that convinces every scientist that studies it. You violate the rules and complain about what I do. Well, how about this? I won't answer your attempts to hijack the thread as they are against the rules; however the rules don't apply to you. Creationism is based upon science. And as for judges, they used to rule that people like you were insane. They are just humans and in a few years, the pendulum swings back the other direction. That's my position and if that violates the rules, then all you expect is an echo chamber that locks out any honest discussions.

I don't doubt what a judge did, but the United States Supreme Court also opined the secular humanism had the effect of a religion. It's irrelevant because none of that addresses the bottom line as to the reason you're scared because some people can't be forced to accept your religion.

It has become patently obvious that you are just PROJECTING your own erroneous beliefs that have no connection with factual reality while fallaciously accusing others of what you are doing yourself.

This effectively DISQUALIFIES you from any further meaningful interaction on this topic as far as I am concerned.

    Have a nice day!

Over 200 posts and the atheists have not been able to comprehend that this thread has a title AND an OP. When these atheists cannot answer the question, they try to get personal and then hurl the old "ad hominem" favorite out there. Here's the deal: If I were making "ad hominem" attacks, I'd be motivated to go back and be as anal retentive as they are, calling each one out personally for every slight. But, I'm not. I'm pointing to the fact that they cannot post a reply based upon the OP and have an on point discussion. We've had over 200 exchanges here and NONE of it has anything to do with the topic.

In my introductory post here, I stop by and say hi. The thread is not about atheism; I have nothing negative to say about them. THEY initiated the conversation that derailed that thread and reduced it to an argument over what THEY want to talk about. Their position is, in reality indefensible and their unwillingness to live and let live is indicative of that. When I'm called on to fight for the Rights of all people, I don't get the luxury that atheists have. But, they can spend their ever waking moment fretting over how what I believe in cannot be tolerated in a free society. So, they have to make everything about them. Oh, how you attacked them; everything is a logical fallacy, ad hominem, strawman, appeal to Acccomplishment Fallacy, etc. excuses. NOBODY on this thread has singled out an atheist for any special treatment nor belittled them, denigrated them, or called them out by name. There is no strawman argument, etc.

The reality is atheists do not have any respect for their fellowman. They want to create an anti-Christian atmosphere in America wherein the believer is not entitled to follow the dictates of their own conscience. When they make ridiculous statements like a Christian's "imaginary friend," it's an insult as bad as using the N word. The point being, atheists do not want a Christian to have the Right to believe in God. That is, even by the most liberal of interpretations, un-American. I don't know any of the atheists here personally and when they feel slighted, it's only because I do not single them out for any special personal statements. Ugly things were said by atheists on this thread; the others criticizing me did not disavow those statements and that is usually one of those things where silence is consent. So I have spoken about atheism, not to any individual poster and they will never make it a personal issue between one poster and myself. I have not and will not give any atheist here that satisfaction. I've called their religion what it is - and will summarize it just in case I missed something. Atheism is a paranoid , delusional, and hate filled religion generally appealing to people who have had bad experiences with some form of mainstream Christianity. The adherents are so convinced of the rightness of their beliefs that they fail to see when and where they come up short in objective facts.

Weighing evidence was part of my job at one time. I'm trained at that. I came from a non-believing family and IF my father was ever in a church when I was a growing up, it would have been to attend a funeral. There never was any push to get me to believe or disbelieve; the old man simply did not believe. I think that after I turned 30 and he remarried, he may have gone once to appease his second wife, but that is pure conjecture. When the subject came up I was misled and began poking fun at Christianity because we see this book and take it literally when many portions are not to be taken that way AND there are many interpretations once you study the words and meanings. With the evidence in, I accepted Jesus as my saviour. That requires no justification. If people are on a jury and the vote is 8 to 4, the verdict does not end in a "win" for the majority. If the evidence is not strong enough to sway those four members, it is a hung jury and the issue is over. You can find a new jury and try again, but if you keep coming up with a hung jury, there simply is not enough compelling evidence to prove the point. THAT is where atheists stand today. It is the THEORY of evolution versus the belief in creationism. Atheists cannot accept that and are threatened by people having the Freedom OF Religion. When what I think and believe constitutes a threat to any group of people, maybe THEY are the ones with a problem. And that, brothers and sisters was what the OP was really about. Atheists here only confirmed my suspicions.

Nothing quite like holding up a mirror to expose the bovine excrement in your content, is there?

You have the right to insult and to say things that will not hold up to serious debate AND I've been given just enough infractions to understand that if I took you on in the spirit that you have carte blanche to exercise libelous statements, they would ban me. Say anything you like. My challenge to you will be in a PM. Accept it or don't. Either way you and I will know the truth no matter what.

Thank you for establishing that YOUR OWN WORDS were DELIBERATELY INTENDED as INSULTS!

Furthermore it is readily apparent that you are UNABLE to refrain from "libelous" insults either.

However that is entirely your problem, not mine!

    Have a nice day!

What you say is dishonest, inaccurate, and you were the first to break the rules - not that the moderators called you on it. This is a one way street and I realize that you will get the last word either way. You do not have to refrain from libelous insults as you have an advantage here. So, none of this is relevant to the thread. THAT is the disrespect you've shown me. You would never meet me on a level playing field, so give it your best shot. No matter what you say to me, other posters will have to wonder what it was that I said to you that was deleted. And they will know that you would not meet me on a level playing field. If people go back to my introductory thread, they will see how the atheists took it over when I was refusing to get into any pretend "debate" and see how this place really operates. How many infractions did you receive for going off the reservation and posting off topic material there. There is one standard for you and another for me. Even when what you say is NOT true, you have the latitude to say it - so by all means, let your closing remarks be zingers.

The most telling point is when you claimed that hearing an opposing viewpoint is the equivalent of having that viewpoint forced upon you. In reality, no it isn't. And if you feel victimized by hearing opposing views, maybe a debate forum isn't for you. I'll tackle the rest of the blatant falsehoods later, but that deserves the first mention.

If the rules say that the replies must be on topic, then those are the rules. In order for any discussion or "debate" to be fair, then you confine the discussion / "debate" to the topic at hand. The problem is, the rules are not the rules and the atheists have been able to hijack both threads I've started on this board... both of them. It is against the rules; it is disrespectful, but more than anything it goes to the heart of the ethical standards of the atheists. The reality is, unless you agree to be a willing target for atheists that have problems with reading comprehension, you're not welcome here. So join the majority and I'll tell you like this: I agree that I don't belong in any arena that does not apply rules fairly across the board. I'm only replying now because I'm being attacked. Leave me alone and I go away. Otherwise I just keep asking uncomfortable questions and from here on out, ignoring those not intelligent enough to answer the questions. You will know who they are when they do not elicit a reply to an off topic post.

    Now here's the topic:

I saw the other thread; was annoyed that in my introduction thread here, atheists were trying to get me into a debate, so I have some issues of my own.

Atheists pretend that they're all about not having Christianity forced down their throat when they are trying to force their non-belief on us by interjecting it into irrelevant threads. It got me to wondering.

After many years, I do not recall the faction of atheists that have started or even participated in any threads where they took Muslims to task. And now there IS a religion that teaches Muslims to kill or convert people.

Additionally people proclaim that they are atheists, but get really defensive about being equated to secular humanists AND trying to imply that anyone linking secular humanism to the general policies of the U.S. government are "conspiracy theorists" when public policy IS consistent with secular humanism.

The people claiming to be atheists seem to be more about squelching Christians than having equality with all religions. Fact is, I'm only familiar with those threads wherein atheists want to bust the chops of Christians... Never Jews, never Muslims and not even with secular humanists (of which many atheists claim are not one and the same.) Anyone else ever notice that?

Can you formulate a response to that? There are EIGHT simple sentences in that post. It's not connected to how superior atheists believe they are compared to the religious community; it is not an opportunity to debate just any old subject they want to. It's not like I came here knowing that only the opinions of atheists counted. I came on this thread with a question. Unable to address it, I have been viciously attacked, smeared, and belittled while the atheists scramble to figure out to respond to a simple truth: They have NO threads calling the Jews or Muslims out; they do not harass, intimidate nor try to derail the threads of ANY religion save of Christianity. They do not hijack the threads of other religions. They have but one agenda: Do not allow a believer to stand on equal footing with them. They get to derail every thread, change the topic, deflect, project, and assume that they have a monopoly on human virtue. They can't change the facts; can't change the truth so they just say if we can't control you, then you aren't welcome here.

I get it that they are scared and can't handle the truth and we aren't going to talk about that subject, so the quicker you quit trying to stir the pot, the faster this thread is over - and can die a nice death. And I won't make that mistake again.

Ok, first off, I have had both educated theists and atheists argue on the same side with me. For the most part you are dealing with harris/dawkins neo-atheists which are a completely different breed. I dont care which board you post on if you are posting against neoatheists its a stroll through alices comedy central wonderland. You cant take this **** so seriously because these people are political spinsters, they are not here to educate or become educated, they dont care if they are right or wrong, all they care about is evangelizing their political position and they take every opportunity to do so. Seriously I have to admit I have seen some of the best strawmen and redd herrings ever known to man from neoatheists. Think about it, in their world anyone who is not a certifed believer is an atheist, 'everyone'! They are desperately try to increase their numbers. They are so hard up and desperate that they use 'lack of belief' as their mantra because in the imagination it puts them above rebuttal and it even includes rocks dogs and newborns that have no knowledge about any G/ods what so ever LOL Hell we even have neoatheists that claim they believe in God! So I suggest that you kick back, put your feet up pour yourself a barley pop and enjoy the show! :D

Of course, Democrats love Christian bashing but give Islam, a total pass. No surprise, they love globalism and see Islam as a great thing...nevermind Islam would toss them off the mosque roofs, along with the gays.
