    Good take.

I'm stunned that the Democrats are being so transparently sleazy.

I need to be more cynical...

What federal taxes are remitted by states?

Why don't we just stop paying welfare to poor blacks then those welfare red states would not take so much welfare in addition to what we already pay locally? The red states wouldn't get so much from the federal government.

But, the issue is actually the state. Picking cities to point to doesn't really answer the question.

And, CA had a giant "rainy day" fund before COVID.

McConnell's excuse for ignoring this bill that targets workers is that it is time to do only what is "necessary". Thus the desperate circumstances of workers must be ignored!

What about the lives of desperate workers with mounting rent debt, ended healthcare, no unemployment, etc., can be considered NOT "necessary"?

After 4 bills targeting businesses that have not stopped the plunging unemployment, how can it possibly be justified that workers MUST be ignored???

I see NO WAY to defend McConnell's logic.

Do you understand how horrible it would be if businesses across the country and this depression become the new reality? Do you want to live in a country with 25% unemployment?

I see no way to defend the self-serving *logic* of 99.9% of politicians.

Trump will sign Pelosi's bill when pigs like her fly and lead balloons float, never.

I agree. Trump has shown absolutely zero interest in the health and financial concerns of American workers.

Why would he suddenly decide to help them - unless couched as an add on to the trillions for Kushner to hand to the businesses he likes?

Spending what has already been spend was a big mistake. It has been nothing but an incentive for already lazy people not to work at all. No more experimenting with socialism needed. Obama did it too. It didn't work then and won't now. Pelosi is delusional.

That’s why we need to open the economy not throw money we print at people staying home. Not how it works.

The working class need to be allowed to go back to work. Lame twist of logical on your part to try and suggest they stay at home to “help” themselves.

You do understand printing more money for the economy is not making more money right for the economy right?

I’m one of those “essential workers” knee deep in the supply chain and we as a country can not afford to do that nor could it be administered fairly or accurately.

Who is a essential worker? Define it.

yes, and if they are not ready to return to work they should be able to stay home, the choice should be theirs, I agree

leave the choice to the people, not Trump or the Governors

I did not want to give the corps trillions, that should of went to the people

how about just not have them pay more taxes than they get in services for a few years - cut the handouts to red states that are taking more fed dollars then they put in

Mitch going after Blue states that put in more dollar to the fed than they receive was dumb, as this is a debate the right does not want to have

Moscow Mitch should keep his mouth shut

The blue states cannot afford to be picking up the tab for illegals.

California spends 23 billion yearly on illegals.
New York spends 7.5 billion yearly on illegals.

Pelosi wants 1 Trillion for blue state bail outs.
Unless they change there ways, they will get in the same trouble again.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

They can’t afford to be sanctuary cities, so they need to raise their state sales & income taxes.

California is welcomed to start their own country tomorrow.

When they need help, they can call China.
