So now it is OK to say a woman is fat? Can you imagine is President Trump said Stacy Abraham's is fat maybe she should watch her diet?

I didn't get that from the article. It definitely refers to it being used as a treatment but I could find no reference mentioning use as prevention.

Because there is no research backing it’s use for this and it has well reported KNOWN SERIOUS side effects

Now before we go any further let’s talk dosage

    https://www.drugs.com/hydroxychloroquine.html

What is the required dose to prevent covid 19?

Prevent the onset of severe symptoms, there like that better? A vaccine doesn't prevent you contracting a virus, getting the virus in your system, it merely triggers your body to produce the antibodies to fight it so it you do contract it your body can go ahead and kill it before you come down with the ill effects. It is believed that HC interferes with the reproduction of the virus and also helps keeps the body from over reacting to it.

No I don't need to talk dosage, the medical experts determine that you are not qualified and yes there have been successful clinical studies here is just one

    See above.

NO ONE is forcing you to take, you have no business telling others what they should do simply because Trump has taken it now.

No, no they are not, but no matter. There are always doctors that will agree with the patient. That's why there IS an opioid problem. Also, there is a post here that, falsely claims that doctors prescribe hydro as a prophylactic when in fact the article never says that....at all, in fact it says that 50% of the doctors don't even use hydro.
There is NO proof, at all, that Trump's doctor DID give a script or that Trump IS actually taking it.

Do you mean prevent the onset of severe symptoms for someone that has the virus or to prevent someone for getting the virus? I think the discussion was whether it would prevent you from getting the virus not getting more severe symptoms once you are already diagnosed with the virus?

I haven't seen him complaining about people making their own choices to take it or not. He JUST said in his press briefing it's up to the person.

Ooooh! You mean the discredited study by Raoult?

Been shown to be bulldust and the journal that published it has distanced themselves from it

Is anyone forcing you to take it? You are free to make up your own mind and discuss with YOUR doctor.

Just the very mention of this by the president is causing a LOT of people to also try this “treatment”

How many will lose their sight? How many will die because the known side effect of QTC prolongation is exacerbated in COVID patients?

That is between them and their doctor. If you come down with symptoms don't take it that's YOUR choice. Trump made his. ME, I would take it. Don't attack people for their choice in the matter.

    I wouldn’t

But then I have a health care background and have been studying this over the last few months. I have yet to see a quality trial that is showing unequivocal results and more than one that has been terminated due to the fact more people were dying on the drug treatment

He did not say that he was taking azithromycin, and taking antibiotics when you have no bacterial infection is irresponsible! Any doctor who prescribes antibiotics to a patient who has not got a bacterial infection should be struck off
