But the next part of your message was wrong, Anthony Johnson who you were referred to as the first Black slave owner was actually the owner ( I can't think of a better word than owner right now) of John Casor. He was an indentured servant who tried to frame Anthony for keeping him illegally, claiming his indenture had ended several years prior. Basically after a long court trial Casor was awarded back to Anthony where he was to remain for the rest of his life, to pay back the debt the Court said he still owed.
