With no violence contained within these mental decisions.

Didn't a black man try that approach in Maryland somewhere? He got into the police van and never made it out alive.

Do you understand that even anger is a form of violence...can do damage even if not expressed physically?

You mean like the MSM television networks encouraging anger and rioting?

“Let me say as I've always said, and I will always continue to say, that riots are socially destructive and self-defeating. ... But in the final analysis, a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it that America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the Negro poor has worsened over the last few years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice, equality, and humanity. And so in a real sense our nation's summers of riots are caused by our nation's winters of delay. And as long as America postpones justice, we stand in the position of having these recurrences of violence and riots over and over again.” [Martin Luther King Jr., "The Other America"]

I think people/culture have a lot to do with their own reputations.. It's no secrete how thug life is embraced in some cultures so it is approached accordingly.. I'm sure if an Amish member was to be arrested/questioned it would be handled far differently!

I think it was going respectful enough until he laid down on the ground like a child throwing a tantrum..

So you are saying the black man died in the police van because he was not wearing a seat belt?

George Floydd wasn't rioting or looting and did not get basic human respect....he just got killed.

Your ridiculous comparison to a suspect lying on the ground to a child having a tantrum does NOTHING to refute or address the post of mine you quoted.

Are all suspects lying on the ground are having tantrums? Really? No cop ever put a suspect on the ground or told them to get on the ground??

    Hilarious and ridiculous comparison...

Are you saying anyone having a tantrum should be killed ??!!!!!!!

So then Italians should all be treated like thugs because of their ancestors?

Seems like a pretty common place for a suspect to be when dealing with police. Police knees on necks less so, or at least if they’re following their training.

Maybe if it's a black man it becomes a "tantrum" ;)

    Could be!

I lean towards “trying not to get murdered” though.

Watch the video, they guys just lays down while he could have simply entered the police car.. That what I see, they even try to lift him up but he was doing like a child and going limp.. Watch it, fact remains he could have just as easily got in the squad car..

They were trying to "life him up" by kneeling on his neck ? LOL! Another ridiculous assumption...totally lacking in facts..

Given the situation I’d say he was someone who didn’t want to get killed by the police.

Even if we do want to call it a tantrum where does the knee on the neck become justified?

Is that anything like lifting yourself up by your bootstraps?

The police tried to lift him up before the neck thing also, you cant rewrite a video Foxhasting! Fact remains he was two foot from entering the car and chose to go limp on the ground, wasn't a wise choice in my opinion!

I would have just got in the car, YOU?

And after the Obama administration got the DOJ invovled and all of the trials happened it turned out that not a single one of the people involved were guilty of murdering the thug. He simply threw a fit over having been justifiably arrested and then flung himself around in rage until the fool managed to break his own neck during transport. All that rioting . . . for . . . nothing.
