I acknowledge my White Privlege. How do we deal with it?

Come on conservatives, keep talking among yourselves about how white privilege is bunk and how the old white guys are really the ones discriminated against. It's really illuminating, because usually these conversations reveal how you really feel about African Americans.

 

The only ones I've seen making a call on that have been white supremacist fascists. Level-headed people are still trying to find out.

Slavery was almost exclusively in the south which was relatively poor and agrarian and they lost the civil war because they couldn't compete with the non slave states that were prosperous and industrialised so don't even try that BS.

 

And you needed metaphors because your basic argument was flawed and can't be backed up with facts.

My argument is correct. Metaphors help people understand basic concepts; that's why I use them.

 

Stupid people believe white privilege is a actual thing. Calling out this nonsense isn’t discrimination against black folks, on the other hand it is discrimination against stupid people

 

I sometimes wish I had a puppy. They are so cute. They like to follow you around, hump your leg, beg for attention.

 

Enslaved Afrians were in every state. The South grew very wealthy from the labor of the slaves. The South lost the Civil War because they overplayed their hand.

Wrong again. The South lost the Civil War (aka War of Northern Aggression) simply because the South was outnumbered.

 

You need to read some actual history instead of propaganda. First off the free states had no slaves. Second the norths industrialization had left the agrarian south based on slavery in their dust even in agriculture.


"The South had little manufacturing capability, about 29 percent of the railroad tracks, and only 13 percent of the nation's banks. The South did experiment with using slave labor in manufacturing, but for the most part it was well satisfied with its agricultural economy.

The North, by contrast, was well on its way toward a commercial and manufacturing economy, which would have a direct impact on its war making ability. By 1860, 90 percent of the nation's manufacturing output came from northern states. The North produced 17 times more cotton and woolen textiles than the South, 30 times more leather goods, 20 times more pig iron, and 32 times more firearms. The North produced 3,200 firearms to every 100 produced in the South. Only about 40 percent of the Northern population was still engaged in agriculture by 1860, as compared to 84 percent of the South.
