Perhaps you are right here. It still feeds the democratic party narrative though, does it not? Instead of ask what you can do, it's demand that the feds destroy it for you. This is the line that we find ourselves walking right now. Democrats would like nothing more than to have the President walk into this trap they have so neatly crafted. But, we see it clearly for what it is. Democrats need to start actually policing in their cities, and demonstrate that they have the courage to do so. Perhaps what you might have said was "between Socialists/fascism and freedom/liberty". The right aren't fascists. The right are trying to conserve liberty and freedoms against the left. Order must be restored. It is why we have police in the first place. I know, democrats believe that building a police force and union for them is just another tool to finance their political campaigns but the rest of us actually expect the police to protect the cities.
