I am not perplexed about that at all. They want to see their Tribe remain in the White House and in power generally, and if that means voting for a complete grub of a human being like Trump, then that is what they will do. They will overlook everything horrible that the fat orange puke does. I wish they would dump him and let Pence duke it out in November for the White House. I reckon that will give them a far better chance of holding it and the Senate.

Okay, fact is that Aussie film crew were not part of a riot or even filming a riot. It was a protest which the Cops escalated and I suspect it was connected to the path being cleared so Trump could heroically stride, risking life and limb into the Valley of Death to visit St John's for that appalling photo op.
