I agree. Spending 5-10 hours reading whatever that bag of gas has to say would be torture. I’m sure Fox News will quote whatever is good for Trump and MSNBC will point out whatever trashes Trump.

Well, maybe you can get some sort of preview this Sunday 9PM ET... Set those DVRs...

ABC News Lands Exclusive With John Bolton About Memoir Claiming Donald Trump Committed Many “Ukraine-Like Transgressions”

    https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/abc-news-lands-exclusive-john-155503107.html

Of course, Bolton will only tease stuff out, but it still might be interesting, if I can stand watching a talking mustache for an hour..

So... time's up... I suspect everybody in this administration is reading impaired, but they've had their bite at this apple...

I do, but America is already suffering from shell shock since we've had so many hit already. It's practically just the background noise of Trump's regime at this point and Congressional Republicans have ensured that nothing can be done about it until November.

So, Trump is trying to cover up his misdeeds again, and once again he is abusing the legal system to do so. It is a long-time favorite tactic of his, and it is disgusting.

If you have a chance, go back and read my post #74.

What do you think Bolton is referring to by "Ukraine-like transgressions"?? He seems to think the D's in Congress knew about these things, since he dings them for not pursuing them during Impeachment... Certainly nothing in the Mueller report...

I'm genuinely curious who else Trump tried to extort for political gain...

Well you not gonna get any, just more of "he said" and "I heard" and of course, "bad orange man"!

The best kind of witness...."He said" and "I heard"...

Eye and Ear witness... Can't wait for the "hearsay" and "3rd hand witness" attempts...

Perhaps the more expedient question would be who else has Trump not tried to export for political gain. Extortion is his M.O., really. He uses his base support and bully pulpit to extort Republican congresscritters. He's used sanctions and threats of sanctions on all sorts of foreign governments, even our closest allies. This also raises the question of just what form those other alleged instances of extortion might have taken. Were they more instances of Trump asking for "favors" in other "perfect" phone calls or something else? Might evidence of these other attempts at extortion also be found hidden on that secure server or other such places?

Orange man is bad. He has proven that beyond all reasonable doubt.

I guess childish bullying, hypocrisy, dishonesty and illegality are virtues to you, then. Oh, and authoritarianism. He likes to play at being the next Führer.

Geez, this ****ing idiot really is the gift who keeps giving...

    Check this out... today

    SNIP
The president suggested his threat has teeth because “any conversation with me is classified” and Bolton’s book, “The Room Where It Happened,” promises to be filled with first-hand accounts of the inner workings of his administration.
    ENDSNIP

Hmmm... I wonder how Omarosa avoided prison??

Since that statement is patently false, I wonder if that counteracts the dumb statement by Bolton's lawyer. That side can now claim the review process was held up by a ridiculous definition of classified and move forward on 6/23..

I don't think we've ever had a greater or more unabashed liar in the White House, or in any political office for that matter.

Lies are one thing, but this blatant misunderstanding of the basics of his job, and the jobs of those around him, are just indicative of his inability to comprehend...

This isn't my projection... June 23rd was stated by the lawyer and publisher...

I'm just hoping it happens, like most of America...

"President Donald Trump called his one-time national security advisor John Bolton's forthcoming book "highly inappropriate" on Monday and said it would be a "criminal problem" if the book published. The president, who has also said he hasn't read the memoir, told reporters in the cabinet room, "If he wrote a book, I can't imagine that he can because that's highly classified information."

I'm assuming that was Trump's attempt to threaten Bolton. Won't work, of course, but he can try...

Here's an article that describes who should be reading this book, eventually..... works for me...

I don't anybody who is going to "valorize" Bolton over this book... as most have said, it's a little late for some of it....

    SNIP
So how should one approach Bolton’s book?

The best answer is to treat the book—and its author—bloodlessly, as a source of information that needs to be evaluated with due consideration for the source but without an instinct to either valorize or condemn. Bolton has a story to tell. It is very likely a story worth hearing. To absorb it implies no heroism or redemption for the man. It is not an embrace. It is possible to hear his story while maintaining one’s disdain for his behavior. The relationship is transactional.

How many NSA's have written a book while his POTUS was still in office? (I really don't know but this is groundbreaking in itself)..
