So you are saying that much of black people's problems are the result of 400 years of oppression! Serious question: do you believe the white race is superior to blacks? So far it sounds like you do.

I don't see any "virtue signaling" ( a new buzz term for irritating the left). But your "solution" of changing the culture in the inner city is childishly simplistic. It is much more complicated than that and requires a multi-prong approach. Study into it.

 

It is simplistic. All it took for liberals to break the black community was to introduce welfare and replace the fathers. All it would take to fix it is to tie pregnancy implants to welfare checks. If a person wants to live off the state, that is fine. If they expect to procreate, they need to be self-sufficient.

Stop 3rd world immigration completely. Nothing has decimated the black working class faster than that. Black intellectuals talk about this ALL the time. Perhaps you should listen to them.

Apply the above two remedies simultaneously and the problem would be solved in a generation.

Liberals have been in charge for 60 years and the inner city black community is worse off for their efforts. They are literally further behind now than before the liberals sunk their talons in. Blaming white conservatives in the suburbs IS NOT A SOLUTION!!!!!

Well, there is the matter of doing away with police.

 

How many cities or town have proposed getting rid of its entire police force?

 

I haven't counted. Minneapolis and Seattle, that I know of by name, but I know that there are others.

 

So out of 19,000 plus cities and towns in the US only two have PROPOSED? Doesn’t really seem like much of an issue. And keep in mind the key word ‘PROPOSED’. There is a huge difference between proposing to do something versus actually doing something.

Reducing funding is not the same as getting rid of entire police force. Surely you know this.

There is zero proof of racism in many cases. Yet folks will say it must be racism. Why do folks accept such nonsense?

That question does not even make sense to me. It would like asking me if a German Shepherd is superior to a Boston Terrier. There are differences between races and also differences within races. When people moved to Europe, Asia and the Americas, they all got different selection pressures which resulted in these differences. So I recognize that different groups of people have different attributes that generally make them better at some things than other of groups people and worse at some things than other groups of people. This is the entire problem with the equity notion, it pretends that all groups of people are equally good at everything, that is clearly not the case.

I prefer to be around white people. If I was black I would prefer to be around black people. That is hard wired in all humans. Socialization can kind of remove the race preference but all that will do is shift the in-group preference to a different metric. For example, when I said my preference was white people, that was not the only selector for my in group; other preferences include college educated, attractive, athletic and politically Conservative. There is no possible way to remove the tendency of animals to categorize other animals into in-groups and out-groups.

PS: One can have a preference for one group without hating or disliking other groups. I have always had a preference for beautiful women, that does not mean that I hate or dislike fat/ugly women, it just means I won't have sex with them.
