Trump never had anyone to transition to. ‘This guy doesn’t know anything’: the inside story of Trump’s shambolic transition team https://www.theguardian.com/news/20...ide-story-of-trumps-shambolic-transition-team
He should blame the pandemic given that is the reason. Most of his supporters are still addressing the epidemic. His supporters are fine with his handling of the pandemic and don't see trump as being a racist. This race deal is a fabrication by the DP and their handmaidens , msm. To call any president a racist is a most nefarious and destructive lie not to mention utterly irresponsible. There is nothing in legislation or his EOs that is racist. I recall well when msm came out with the racist claim. He was speaking of illegal aliens breaking US law by sneaking into america. Some he said are criminals and even rapusts. This was a fact. Indeed female illegals getting raped on the trip was happening and had been covered by the news before trump said it. Yet this fact he reported turned him into a racist! How can you not see this racism was manufactured by dirty dems and dishonest msm? So then msm and dems repeat this lie and Goebbels would be so proud! I can't stand trump.. But never would I make up lies to beat him. People that do that are like whale $hit. As low as one can sink. .
Another reasonable option here. I recall in 2016, my boss going to a Trump rally here. I'm not much attracted to attend "big crowd" events personally, but I recall asking my boss if he was really going to stand in line for 3-4 hours to "maybe" get into a 60,000 seat venue when the campaign was saying they had half a million ticket requests. The odds of getting a seat never sound good. I thought that was crazy marketing to announce that requests were many times the number of seats. Just ran across this thread from a man who used to organize such events. https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1274547228619636738.html ...Click link for the rest (for anyone who's interested). Other issues, including the pandemic and the fact that Oklahoma only has 1 million registered GOP voters...
~ This was a big mistake for Trump. All previous presidents basically immediately gut the prior administration staff and replace everyone with their own personal. Trump was new to politics and "trusted" too many leftovers. He did the shift slowly. Perhaps he got bad advice. Keeping James Comey was one glaring example . { even Comey expected to get tossed upon arrival } ~ Sad the moderators of a website have to teach manners ...
Suuurrre, as if Trump is anything but an establishment hack himself. He's done whatever the GOP Has told him to do. Make no mistake, the GOP would have thrown him to the wolves years ago had he not done what they wanted him to do. Trump isn't "different", he's another corporate statist, just with a twitter account.
Same here brother. Voting straight ticket D from everything to president to dog catcher. Screw that political party and it's radical base.
The Council on Foreign Relations represents the 'establishment' in American foreign policy. On that, I agree. But just because someone is attached to the most extremist voices in that establishment, and is even more clearly tied to some of the special interest groups that work within its gambit, doesn't mean that they are fighting that 'establishment'. Bolton (when he was chosen to serve as National Security Advisor) and Pompeo (who has been Trump's loyal ass-liker in front of him but is often behind the pressure from the usual suspects whenever Trump wants to veer off course), among a host of other figures in and around Trump, are simply the most extremist voices for the kind of policies you allude to and associate with CFR. I am sure if Trump wanted to merely placate the CFR crowd to avoid a 'coup', he could have come up with much better choices than these and many others who have been coming in and out of his administration. p.s. Let me be blunt: you can't pick Israel as the country whose script you like to follow and then stand against the "establishment". Israel (for reasons that require a message more verboise than even my typical ones) represents the exact confluence of all the special influence forces that are at the center of the corruption in American politics. The idea of running against the 'establishment' by working closely with Israel is akin to some associate of the mafia running on a platform against organized crime.
Sure. He was a Democrat until he decided to pretend to be a Republican. And now he's worshipped by 95% of the Republican base, who probably 10 years or less from now will pretend that they never supported him.
OK, so do you see the problem with your un informed claim? ---------- > He's done whatever the GOP Has told him to do. Make no mistake, the GOP would have thrown him to the wolves years ago had he not done what they wanted him to do.
