This article is some kind of stupidity. I have never seen anything like it. There are protests in Russia and you could find more suitable material for the link. The difference is that in Russia the protests are socially political in nature. For example, against capitalism and for building a communist society of justice. And the number of supporters of communist ideas is growing exponentially. The growth of supporters is ahead of the scientific base. Because now there is a study of the causes of the destruction of socialism and scientifically based correction of the construction of such a society.
The transition to a new social development is gradual. For example, scientists say that the transition from a slave system to a feudal system took 700 years. The transition from feudalism to capitalism is 500 years. There were periods of progress and periods of rollback, the so-called reaction. For example, there were the Republic of Venice, Milan ... practically capitalism, but then feudalism returned. Or for example France - under Napoleon it is a republic and capitalism, then monarchy and feudalism. But in the end, capitalism triumphed. Since at that time capitalism was a progressive social and political system. Now capitalism is a dead end. Therefore, the transition to communism is inevitable. But this requires a scientifically sound basis. Therefore, now the study of the causes of the collapse of the USSR is underway.
This is a complicated process. But we must remember that the first communist state existed only in one city of Paris and a little more than a month. These folks declared themselves autonomous. Do you even know what that means? Do you not get that it was their choice to allow folks with guns to be a part of their autonomy? No? How about the women getting raped in there? Do you suppose that it is a national problem? Face it. When someone needs medical treatment - the Police are not the proper people to call.

The claim on the table is "Citizens being allowed to die" Calling the paramedics - rather than the police - is "NOT" - Citizens being allowed to die.

 

In the sketchy neighborhoods(like CHAZ), the police and paramedics work as a team. If someone needs medical treatment in such neighborhoods, they aren't going to get the paramedics until the police show up and secure the scene.

Blocking the police from accessing a scene where paramedics are needed IS citizens being allowed to die.

 

No it isn't - Paramedics often show up prior to - and/or without police so your claim is bunk - but even it true it would not be "allowing citizens to die" if attempts were made to bring the people needing medical attention to the paramedics.

 

In an area that isn't safe, the medics have to wait for the police to secure the area first, before rendering aid.

I work with Cops, Firefighters, and EMT's (often dispatched out of a fire station)
It is you who are wrong. Both EMT's and Firefighters in large cities all over America require police who are usually the first on the scene, to clear the area so the firefighters and/or EMT's can do their job.
As for Chad/Chaz, this is now a totally different country and there is no requirement for any outside help from US police,fire, or medical personnel.
It would be possible to launch the idiot mayor of Seattle over the wall armed with a tourniquet and a bottle of peroxide but she would be required to show proof of citizenship when leaving that country.

 

How many shooting victims would you need to see before you deemed an area unsafe?
