You know, you just make statements like that, which are ridiculous. I'm white and voted for Obama the first time and Romney the second time. Yesterday I voted in a primary and voted for the black candidate over a ex-navy seal because he is dishonest. Unfortunately the Seal won. All my kids hang out with mix groups and some vote Democrat and some Republican. So when you post your crap on here please do your research. Then again you could be one of those people to interfere in our elections with falsehoods.

Republicans just claim they would vote for someone black. It would have been impossible for Obama to win the Presidency without white votes. The CRA and VRA where both passed with bi-partisan support. For years the VRA was blocked by Democrats. Robert Byrd was an ex KKK leader. America works best when both party's obtain common ground. You can find all this information in history books. That is if they haven't been purged yet.

 

Easy enough. All I have to do is go back to those heady days of 1995 when Colin Powell was thinking about running. He would have beat the pants off of Clinton - although considering Bubba's pants were usually down to his ankles the bar is kinda low there. Nevertheless ...

The country is still racist even though far more black people kill white people than the other way around. The country is still racist even though cops kill MORE white people than black people. The country is still racist even though black people go from NOTHING to millionaires. The country is still racist although there isn’t a law on the books that prevents Black people from
doing anything white people can do.

So tell us...what has to happen until the country isn’t racist anymore? Nothing. There is nothing that can be done because some people will ALWAYS think everyone around them is racist and out to get them and every failure is because of racism. In medical terms we call that paranoid delusion

Pretty sure Tim Scott from SC was elected. Has it ever crossed your mind that if more blacks joined the Republican party that it would increase black power. As it stands now the Democrat establishment, the white part of it, does not have to be beholden to the minority once they get the Biden vote. Today the crime bill went down in flames because miss white bitch wants to use it as a campaign issue. Meanwhile out on the streets....Are there any conservative law abiding members in the Democrat Party? Just a little bending and some legislation could get passed beneficial to the country. Trump hurts himself with those tweets but Democrats hurt themselves with their obstruction of legislation because they don't want to be seen by liberals as giving Trump a victory. It's not a victory for Trump but could be a victory for the people.

You see that's the difference between Republicans and Democrats. You ask a Democrat why they are voting Democrat and they will tell you " My Mama and Daddy always voted Democrat". No independent thinking there. " Democrats care about poor people". How's that been working out for the last 55 years? "Democrats care about social justice for blacks" Really? Then why are you protesting? All the racial problems seem to be coming out of cities controlled and run by Democrats. Democrats realize and support BLM's. Have you guys checked the murders and shootings of black people in the top twenty cities run by Democrats lately?

Why would I vote Republican? I don't want to go back and live in a city like the one's run by Democrats now. I don't have to live with bars on my windows and doors. I feel reasonably safe walking in my neighborhood. My kids went to schools that had teachers that actually taught the courses. It's also a party that believes America can once again be great again and not a doormat to other countries or a policeman of the world. Republicans believe in offering a hand up and not a hand out.

Well no crime bill so your party got zero instead of at least 80%. Another reason to vote Republican because Democrats believe in equal misery for everybody.

The only victory I would like Trump to have is 4 more years. His policies will benefit the people.

I have to laugh because if I told you how much I made a year you'd be wanting to start a "Please Fund Me" page. I came out of the black ghettos of Detroit and I'm white. I have every Top 40 soul, Motown and club song, from 1955 to 2000 and plenty of rap after that. Yeah my mom and Dad were Democrats and even they finally gave up on the party. My first involvement was passing out pamphlets for a Democrat alderman. I got to see the riots of 68 and the burning down of the city. My sister had her wrist slit by a black. My wife's father had 84 stiches put in his head as he was beaten by 6 blacks downtown. So when people cry about how we never have to put up with what my people have to go through. B.S. We all have our own stories and I'm responsible for my own life and I'm responsible for the way I interact with others. Many in the black community have bought into the false narrative that it's not their fault they live like they do. For many they need to go up to their mama and papa and let them know they did a lousy job of upbringing. Then they need to go look up their teachers and tell them thanks for failing me. Lastly they need to go find all those people who told them they can't make it on their own to kiss their ass. Finally they need to look in the mirror and tell themselves I am somebody. Remember that today is the first day in the rest of your life. If you ain't happy today then what day are you waiting for.

I'm glad your doing well and your family also. Actually I thought the present time was one of the best time for blacks and for black/white relations. It is a big mistake to let a couple bas cops ruin all progress.

That is sound advice, do you give that same advice to your white friends? There are many black kids that thank their parents for the struggles they had to get them up to be productive adults, there are plenty of black kids that go back and thank their teachers for the teachings and guidance they gave them to help them to grow up and be successful. Hopefully we all look in the mirror everyday and tell ourselves we are somebody inspite of the fact that we have those who tell us we aren't.

As a white person understand your misunderstanding when it comes to black folks and the police. See you guys are NO WHERE AROUND when we are going through the harassment, brutality and when some of us are murdered UNJUSTLY. See every case doesn't make it to the TV or national scene.

Well all my kin on my mamas side were railroad people, Most started out as "Gandy dancers" and worked their way to higher positions and others wound up in the coal mines. Almost every immigrant group that has come here has worked hard to better themselves and sacrifice for their family. Some groups have done very well and some haven't. First and second generation immigrants seem to do best. Guess they are more motivated. The longer a group is American the work ethic seems to go down hill.
