There is your evidence. These countries did implement pandemic control measures and enforced them.

Considering our population and land area is massive compared to those countries your evidence is a joke

That's just BS. Democrat Governors have all the power they need to install whatever rules they feel will work. Nothing is going to till all of us who are susceptible to this virus have had it. Biden has nothing to offer that would make a difference that Trump hasn't already done. You're right though, this is all about Biden and the election. We never should have shut this economy down, we should have worked through it. The pain of that is coming when the $600 per week ends and the jobless become the homeless and the hungry. The government, Democrat or Republican, can't print money fast enough to keep that from happening.

Considering that you have not presented a single expert that agrees with you, your evidence is non-existent.

The "experts" have thus far been so wrong its been laughable. Democrat governors issued mask orders and crashed their states economies with draconian shutdowns and the virus still spread.

    A) You still don't have a single relevant expert that agrees with you.
    B) The Democratic governors are objectively doing better right now, despite being hit worse at the start.

Trump said - multiple times, even this week - that this virus is just going to disappear.

That is a really ****ing bad lie.

I'm tired of the US being repeatedly compared to White English-speaking, Western European, and Asian countries.
Any statistics for countries in mainland Latin America or Africa?

I'm taking a look at the statistics of South Africa, often considered the "most advanced" country in sub-Saharan Africa, and it does not look like the rates have gone down, rather they have only continued to increase.

Furthermore, and ironically, a major reason the rates in the US have "increased" simply due to increased and more widespread rates of testing.
In other words, the US is an advanced country, and can provide all these tests and medical diagnoses. Whereas many other less advanced countries can't. (And most of the early testing was provided by foreign aid)

If this post is too complicated for some of you, let me be more concise and simplify:
Things in the US are not bad compared to most other parts of the world that have poverty rates similar to the US or worse.

Trump is always eager to boast about something he's responsible for being "the biggest ever!" Congrat's Donnie boy ... you've been instrumental in allowing the U.S. to be the biggest threat to world health ever.

As long as we are being so considerate we might consider that the procedure for counting these cases may differ around the world?

And not only that, but things are different in the US now than they were 4 months ago.

That makes it difficult to really say if rates have truly gone up, or by how much.

How much of it is just more widespread testing?

The increase of the positive testing response rate over the last 20 days means that increased testing alone does not explain the increase. You also need to recognize that increased community spread is happening.

Especially in overcrowded areas, and communities who live in overcrowded conditions.

Since the US has more poverty and overcrowding, and more minority groups who's culture is not as socially responsible, that probably explains things.
(I mean relative to somewhere like Europe or Canada)

Rates of increase are not the same thing as rates.

Sorry if that mathematic concept is too complicated for some people.

    China. Mongolia. Niger.

Most of Asia has done a better job of containing this virus and saving the lives of their peolle than we have, and the did it by mandating lovkdowns, followed by systematic reopenings with people required to wear masks and do as much social distancing as possible.

Our "dear leader" has done nothing but wishful thinking. There is no national response, period. Epic failure to plan and act has led to tens of thousands more deaths that there should have been.

That's from Forbes, not a liberal or even left-leaning source.

there we go again, blaming Trump. There are as many different approaches to this fight as there are States and then as many in State as there are counties. It even breaks down to cities and towns reacting differently. There is no scapegoat to blame, there are thousands of leaders involved and we don't hear of them because they are in Podunk and the media isn't covering them and we don't care. We care about our local situation.

Forbes refers to the President as our "Dear Leader"?

There are a whole host of factors that differentiate the United States' objectively **** poor response to covid-19 and the response from the rest of the world.

One of those is donald trump being a ****ing moron who suggested injecting disinfectant as a potential treatment, lying about the threat of the virus, refusing to wear a mask, and holding large in door rallies.

Empty? On the contrary, my post is factual. All you've done on this thread is deny the truth: that our response to this pandemic is an abject failure, and due to his inability or outright refusal to take responsibility and act, as expert after expert tried to urge him to do, Trump now has the blood of thousand on his hands.

And his childish wishful thinking continues. Stop making excuses for him.
