If that is not fair then what would be? And the less than $30K is not accurate it should a negative number as in they MAKE money off the tax system in fact up to $50K are mostly paying a negative income tax meaning they get back more due to credits and deductions.

Not the concern of the government and certainly NOT the role of the tax system to determine how much someone needs.

An arbitrary number and not all are families of four.

False, all military spending is only 16% of federal spending. Spending on HHS, Medical, unemployment and labor make up 62%, almost FOUR TIMES as much.

Without our national security none of the rest matters. National defense is the HIGHEST Priority spending of the government. College is an option engaged in because the person wants to make more money, take that more money and pay for then.

So you'll be demanding Nancy Pelosi's tax returns?

People still have figured out that Trumps tax returns aren't going to show diddly, and the numbers they want to see, have already been made public.

Is Pelosi a public servant? If she is I refer you back to my post you quoted.

And you last sentence makes no sense, if his tax returns benefitted him he would have already released them. Everyone knows this.
That he is going to such great lengths to hide them after saying he would be glad to release them only fools the red hats.

$413 million is not even half a billion.

    POPULAR-VOTE CHICANERY

How can you possibly KNOW that? Let's see them, if they were made public. Show me the internet-URL here. Come-on, show me! Because the news keeps saying this: "Trump was the first major party nominee since 1976 not to make his tax returns public."

You are pissing-into-the-wind because Donald Dork is a "favorite" of yours. Likely because he's a billionaire, which is a prevalent personal dream you've had since childhood.

    Dream on ....

PS: And for your personal reading enjoyment, here from the NYT: Decade in the Red: Trump Tax Figures Show Over $1 Billion in Business Losses

    Excerpt:
Read on, the article is interesting and poignant. How can a people be so stoopid as to overlook a presidential candidate's chicanery! Note also nonetheless that he DID NOT WIN THE POPULAR-VOTE FOR POTUS! He lost it. It was by an antiquated-mechanism (the Electoral College) and its first-past-the-post voting that he won the EC-vote for the presidency.

    MY POINT

No other Fair&Honest Developed Democracy on earth has adopted SUCH voting-chicanery. Furthermore, some good reading
    from Vox (Dec. 2016):
Why the Electoral College is the absolute worst, explained

    Excerpt:
You THINK you are living in a functional democracy? Think again ...

The word 'have' actually should be 'haven't' (auto correct). Does that make more sense to you, or do you still not know what financials are already posted for the public?

Tax returns do not show net worth, only show adjusted profits (or loss) for a business, and there really isn't a line that says 'Bribes and Blackmail', contrary to some people's belief.

What is going to be the benefit to you, or anyone else, for him to show his tax returns? I never bothered looking at any other President's tax returns. What would be interesting is looking at ex-President's returns NOW, where they went from moderate to billionaires after leaving office, though once again, that isn't the information that gives a true financial picture.

Wow, your assumptive reasoning seems to have blown a gasket. But since you claim to know what I 'wanted as a child', do tell, who have I voted for in the past? What do I support, and what do I do for my community? How much do I make, and how do I make it? Come on, do give the details, I'd like to know what you think you know about me. It will be entertaining.

Tax returns do not show the financial position of anyone. FACT. There is a document that has been made public that does show Trump's financial position. FACT. Just because you cannot see beyond your vindictive nose to actually see facts rather than what people tell you to think and say, is no problem of mine.

Unfortunately, the last parts of your response clearly shows that you are upset that a long standing process for electing the POTUS did not provide the results you wanted. That doesn't change the validity of the process, or the manner in which it balances the population disparity of geographical areas.

Fact me-arse. Prove it rather than just stating it.

Do you think we are all fools? More than likely with the Rabid Right in America ...

Selective editing of my response, because you know you were full of hot air to begin with. Noted for the records.

So the answer is, no you didn't know such a thing existed. If you were an educated American Citizen, you should have known this. I'm not going to do your work for you, but it involves the word 'disclosure'. Happy hunting.

Until you actually know and understand who I am and what I stand for, you might want to keep the ad homs to a minimum.

Bill, It's not based on what 'they will accept'. Liberals have pretty much made it clear that nothing less then the humiliation and removal of Trump will make them 'happy'. Complete and total disregard that the information they so desperately seek has long since been made public, well, doesn't quite fit some people's narrative.

I've been asking for 4 years what it is they expect to find that is not already in the financial disclosure he files and I get crickets or else absurd things like "how much money he owes" or "how much he is REALLY worth" neither of which are in a tax return.

What in his tax return do you want to see that is not already in his financial disclosure forms that he has filed since he filed to run for office and be specific.

Are you REALLY not aware that starting as a candidate and each year as President he files a financial disclosure form? Go study up and then get back and tell us what it is in his tax return you want to see that is so all important that is no in his financial disclosure form.

Tax returns will show his effective tax rate if noting else. I am interested in that portion.

His taxes are none of your business and you will never see them. Leftists however should see the inside of a compound at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

What will that effective tax rate tell you? So will you be able to calculated the income from various assorted entities reported on K-1s, or via distributions or dividends? What was the underlying P&L of each entity, and why? How does the Profit or loss of each different type of entity impact an individual's tax filings?

I guess everybody has their thing. But you do realize, 'you' will never see the returns? unless you are willing to promote someone committing a felony. Personal sensitive data is not necessarily covered in FOIA requests, just so you know.

Because he knows YOU want to see them. He's doing all this simply because he wants to aggravate YOU. *eyeroll*

Have you shown your tax returns to your neighbors?

What you stand-for is perfectly obvious in your posts. And whoever you are is irrelevant - this is a debate-forum not the local-pub.

I happen to despise what you stand-for. But such is the nature and necessity of a good exchange of opinion.

    N'est-ce pas ... !

Ultimately it just means he is a liar — not that it is a surprise after 4 years. His supporters cheering him being a liar says so much about their character and their narrative that I am kind of glad he is fighting it as hard as he is. The returns themselves probably would change a single vote — but the lies and subsequent applause, that won’t gain him a single one, but it might cost a few to the people that value truth and integrity

disagree, if he wanted to live a private life, then he never should have run for President, we will see them, no matter how hard Trump tries to hide them
