    Yes, this is the problem.

How would you suggest 'Trump's Brown Shirts' make this distinction so as to allow peaceful protest but not allow theft, vandalism, arson or violence? How are they supposed to deal with a crowd of protesters that have a few criminals hiding amongst them?

Not to defend Obama and definitely not to defend Trump but the above claim is hilarious.

    1. How would anyone know where the secret service is located if it's the SECRET service?

    2. So if one protests and the SECRET service shows up from out of nowhere, the protester is now breaking the law because he/she is protesting where the SECRET service is located? (what a convenient way to criminalize a constitutionally protected right, right?).

    3. What happened to the First Amendment that starts with "Congress shall make NO LAW" (that Obama allegedly "put in the law")? The question is rhetorical, the US government does not recognize the Bill of Rights or the rest of the Constitution for that matter unless it's convenient for the US government (and definitely not for The People whose individual rights it serves to protect).

What the hell are you talking about? What has the wingnut media been telling you is going on in Portland?

Man! You really need to get informed! Here....

If you're going to fight them, fight them NOW. If you wait until they get like the Fedayeen your chances of beating them are slim to none.

"The protest late Thursday began with a “couple hundred” people outside the Multnomah County Justice Center, where some demonstrators shot off fireworks as the crowd blocked nearby streets, Portland police said in a statement Friday.

The demonstration then turned violent just before midnight after federal officers moved outside the courthouse to protect the building and were met by protesters who used slingshots to launch projectiles at them, including large rocks and bottles, police said.

Protesters also threw lit fireworks into the broken glass doors of an adjacent federal courthouse, police said.

Officers at the scene warned protesters minutes later that they’d be subjected to use of force, including “crowd control munitions,” if they did not leave the area, department officials said.

As cops broke up the crowd, some demonstrators were “very hostile and violent” toward officers, including someone who threw an open pocketknife at them, police said.

Protesters then started launching mortars towards the federal courthouse, causing a fire to break out inside the building. Several people were taken into custody, but police had not provided an official tally as of midday Friday, The Oregonian reports."

At least three federal officers may be permanently blind after Portland rioters attacked them with lasers

I was being sarcastic in response to your "peaceful protests". Too bad you are not alert enough to pick that up. Most people would.

You didn't answer my question. The helicopters and tear gas weren't used against the looters. They were used against the peaceful protesters. I ask again: are you ok with that?

As noted in other responses in this thread, there are elements of thugs using the peaceful protesters as cover. So yes I am ok with this and would suggest the peaceful protesters single out and turn in the others.

Once you refuse to vacate and area from which you have lawfully ordered to vacate you are no longer peaceful you are now resisting and when objects and launched and thrown from those groups you are part of violent protests, time to get yourself out of that situation because you will be treated as one of those violent rioters including arsonist.

Wait a minute. They sent federals to stop the violence that would occur BECAUSE they sent the federals?

    That is beyond hilarious!

I couldn't get past this part. I will never understand why the left continues to call these "peaceful protests" despite the overwhelming video and picture evidence of looters and buildings burning.

    Sad!

I don't know if the saddest part is that constitutional rights are being stomped on, or if it's that the Party that once prided itself on being the "defenders of the Constitution", now abandon their principles because worshiping a fake idol has taken precedence.

Trump's reign will be short-lived. But the loss of all credibility by Republicans will last forever.

Wait a minute, there was violence and threats to federal employees and federal property. There's nothing funny about it.
