Actually it was an action to attempt to reduce lawlessness on the part of the rioters. The federal government not only has a constitution right but an obligation to protect its property when local government fails to do so. Power? Yes it is and it is a shame it has to be exercised.

Not quite. There is no question that federal government engages in action designed to reduce the power of the states. It has been doing that for decades, mostly with money. It is the natural progression of political power. The solution is to reduce the size of govenrnment and return all the un-numerated powers to the states, the private sector or the trash can. The way to do that is not with rioting. The federal government doesn't like it and will punish it as it should. You need to convince the people who can handle it at the ballot box. Find candidates who want less federal government and work hard to get them elected. That is the American way to handle it.

He was talking about the time the poster spent on his posts. C learly he spends a great deal less time than the person personal attacking him.

 

Well I was thinking it probably would have been yourself who would not have enought time - for posting! Perhaps he finds that his way of posting allows him to give more thought to what he says But it is against rules to talk of posters so lets leave this now.

 

From what I have heard these actions by the Fed are not legal and the crime which appears to have been committed by some protesters is Graffiti. As far as the people dissappearing in unmarket cars, this is apparently no new strategy for authoritarian governments. Once people are used to this they fail to pay attention and then people begin to really dissappear - of course by that time people will be being droned for engaging in their democratic right to protest. Mothers even took to surrounding protestors to protect them in a similar way to the fire brigade did in Catalonia. They must have thought that the Federal Troops would have a conscience about attacking them. They were wrong.

I think there is no question the US now is moving fascist. If the Polls do not go up then I imagine Trump will manage to create some law about no election due to the US being in a State of Emergency and by that time I imagine people will be dying for engaging in their Democratic Right to protest. If the poll's move strongly towards Trump he will go to the country having received permission to do whatever he needs to create the fascist state his base, extremist Christian Zionists and White Nationalists want. I believe the deal is done.

But look, what is this about really? It is about the failure of neo liberalism and the abject poverty the majority of the people of the US are about to find themselves in including a massive increase in homelessness. This is forward thinking. I don't believe Trump orgainised this but I do bellieve he fancies being Dictator and will play the part with great enjoyment. He is a narcissist of the top variety and early on in his Presidency when being asked about another who kept himself in power without elections he said that sounded quite a good idea to him.

In the UK just like in the US our Centrist Politicians will support going into fascism in preference to making the necessary economic changes for the good of all. Given this I was not surprised to discover than dispite her words to the contrary Pelosi is with Trump on this and has authorised funding with no ifs or buts.

Hmmmm, sounds like data mining and contact tracing to me. You get arrested your cell phone gets grey keyed and the police copy your pictures, contacts, emails, text messages etc, then sometime later you get released with nothing to show for the whole deal except a life long arrest record.
