IMHO.. that hearing had no other purpose than to provide soundbites of the scurrilous accusations of Dems, juxtaposed against Barr's facial reactions, so the LOFO Dem voters can make the incorrect assumption that Barr is lying and/or doesn't want to answer questions, ..... when the opposite is the truth.
That will be verified when I see that on the MSM, and DNC ads (oh! I repete myself!)

Each and every one of those Dems had their questions along with relevant material prepared before hand for them by their aides. Pretty sure that if their aides hadn't provided them with the info those Dems wouldn't know jack about the law. They don't even read the laws that they attempt to pass, much less ones that have already passed.

At the end there when it went from the hearing to the guy that made the video and he started putting his two cents in is where I stopped. Him saying that Barr "Knows".....shut up. He doesn't know what Barr knows or doesn't know. All he's trying to do is convince people to think a certain way.

As for your question. There is nothing in the Constitution which states whether or not the POTUS can change the time of an election. Even Mr. Richmond had to refer to a statute, not the Constitution. And if a lawyer is asked a question that they've never come across before why would they know the answer? No lawyer knows every single law that we have. Hell, even the best judges out there don't know every single law that exists. That's why they have a team of aides to help them look up information.

 

I never said that they were? What's your point? They're the ones that make the laws. Additionally most of them have some sort of law degree (including Mr. Richmond... the guy who asked the question). They should know just as much as the AG. But in reality they know less than an AG.

If you're cool with the AG not knowing the rule of law, that's on you. I would prefer our AG to have a clue and to serve the Country rather than the POTUS.

 

He was trying to inform our AG of the law. Barr is not interested in the law, his interest is to protect Trump at all costs.
