And, if NO Federal Election is held, the Dems will take control of the Senate (because more GOP Seats expire). Period.

Well, regardless of WHEN the Election is Held, if the results aren't known by Noon on January 20th, Trump will NO longer be the President.

His term will expire whether or not the Election is held.

And, if they have a Complete Federal Election (in which they elect House, Senate, and President) the results WILL be known by January.

If, there is NO Federal Election, Leahy will become President. Period.

well it’s tone and context as i have said to you before.

at no time did the president say or suggest he alone had or has the authority or will move the election.

in fact just the opposite...he spoke yesterday and said no he wants the election to happen on election day.

but what he did do, was highlight and being the discussion to light in regards to what happen in NY, NJ and other areas were mass univerial mail in voting has occurred and the problems.

to suggest otherwise is a lie or at best a total misrepresentation of the facts.

with that said please explain to me, how that tweet is a high crime or misdemeanor?

 

It is clear as daylight now that Trump has NO intention of participating in the election, other than how it suits him. (By not having an election at all, for example.)

Trump has been rebuffed on his election-delay scheme. But let's not assume he will now be the President who slavishly faces the election and her result. (Should it go against him.)

No chance!

What will Trump think of next or what options are left to him?

- He can resign before the election, unable to deal with the defeat coming his way. (My favorite although I don't see it happening.)
- He can try and escalate chaos on the streets by sending in more ''storm-troopers'', thus disrupting the election this way.
- He can (and probably will if it comes to it) reject his election-loss.

But I suspect his next scheme to rig the election might not be on this list. In typical Trump style it will probably be something unexpected.

 

The tone and context of his tweet and the repeated attacks that he launched during his press conference on the integrity of the US election by literally saying it would be the most rigged and fraudulent election in US history is why his behavior qualifies as treasonous and thus a high crime or misdemeanor.

Also, I would love to hear you explain what "tone and context" would possibly make you unconcerned if someone walked up to you and said, "I wonder how you would feel if I beat your ass?"

It is treason for the President of the United States to repeatedly and explicitly undermine the integrity of the US election by both suggesting that we delay the election indefinitely and by unilaterally declaring that the election will be the most rigged and fraudulent in US history.

His attacks are based on the legit fear that he is losing this election and he wants to toss in the towel.
