If your freedom to live in a white community depends on denying me the opportunity to live in that community your freedom comes at the cost of my freedom.

    [QUOTE="Josephwalker, post: 1071890619, member: 73051"

"The ex-veep wants to ramp up an Obama-era social engineering scheme called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing that mercifully barely got underway before President Trump took office, vowing to stop it.
Biden’s plan is to force suburban towns with single-family homes and minimum lot sizes to build high-density affordable housing smack in the middle of their leafy neighborhoods — local preferences and local control be damned.

The point that has been misrepresented here is that town are not forced to do anything. This sets requirements that towns must meet if they accept federal funds. They can choose not to accept funds and develop as they please as long as they don't violate the Fair Housing Act of 1968.

Your freedom to live in my community comes at the cost of my freedom to live in a white community. Seeing as how I'm here first, my freedom has priority.

Yeah, but there is more to it than that.

    Check out this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cook_Partisan_Voting_Index#By_congressional_district

PA Congressional District 3 is D+41. So, 39% Republicans, 61% Democrats. Republicans are never going to carry an election there, but, that's a lot of wasted Democrat votes.

    Well CD 1 is R+1.

So you use this Biden Plan to destroy the Suburbs to move some folks from CD 3 to CD 1.

Trump's desperate scare tactics concerning Biden's eliminating windows, etc. were not swallowed by the white, college-educated suburbanites that have fled Trumpery in vast numbers.

The paranoid crackpots Trump panders to are few in number.

Hysterical over the polls, Fake Don appears to have turned his attention to crapping on the democratic process and invalidating American electoral self-governance itself.

Watch for Trump's fantasy - millions of invisible voters all casting ballots against him in 2016 - to be conjured up again, and greatly expand their numbers via the voting method most folks in the US military and their families have routinely used for years with very few problems.

Apparently everybody in America wants to live in white communities. Unfortunately whites are the fastest shrinking demographic in the world so the demand for whites is far outstripping the supply. If you think it is hard now to find a white community to live in, try again in 50 years, it will be damn near impossible.

I thought Trump said he's done more for blacks than any other president. Looks to me like Trump wants to keep law abiding blacks in the inner city. Trump is a liar.

~ Where people live depends on their ambition and ability. Low-income population in the U.S. had had record low unemployment and wage growth under Trump's administration.

So, what's the issue with letting these people get away from the inner city?

What is hilarious is that when your last comment was pointed out as racist, as you implied that only whites lived in suburbia, your leftist pals who liked your other post decided to not like this post of yours, since they seemed not to trust their own judgement.

You could have just quietly left this thread in shame, or actually have done the honorable thing and apologized, but instead you doubled down. After all, as you've said, "What is the difference between hitting a wall at 300 mph vs 150 mph?"

~ There is no issue. People can live where they choose. Inner city can be a nice place if the people who live there make it so. Supply and demand determine property value and rents - not skin color.

No matter how you spin it Biden is attempting to coerce suburbia to accept low cost housing in their neighborhoods. Suburban voters are not going to be happy about this.

Just like every other race creed and religion blacks are free to live wherever they want as long as they have the income to do so.
By the way it’s interesting how many liberals in this thread assume all poor people are black and all black people are poor.

You are seriously confused and or ignorant of the issue here.
This program is not about color it’s about income and it forces low income housing into affluent neighborhoods.

Indeed there is a test. Its a test of personal responsibility, proper life choices, and hard work. People who make poor life choices like getting knocked up in high school, or dropping out, or getting arrested fail that test. They get what they deserve, nothing more, nothing less. Everyone should not suffer for their failures...

~ Note there is no increase in law enforcement funding in these proposals.
~ Joe Biden said so .
~ I think these people deserve a better way to live life. They would be well served in a locally sponsored group program to teach life skills, social and personal responsibility, IQ and aptitude testing . They need education, encouragement and examples - not welfare and hand-outs.

They don't have the income to escape the inner city. That's what this program is trying to accomplish.

We have low income/subsidized housing smack dab next to single family homes. Nobody is suffering. Why would anyone be suffering?

Riiiight. A single mother trying to escape gang violence should just man up and fix the inner city problems. Nice story.
