The Ellen character was supposed to be the epitome of kindness, tolerance, and empathy we all aspired to become. Obviously an accusation isn’t proof positive but I’ve always felt that Ellen’s exceedingly nice act was a cover up.

To be fair as a lesbian woman she is an ally to their movement... However when it comes down to it she has the ultimate sin.. Being born White... She must be canceled for Progress... After all if you dont agree you are Regressive and no one wants that.

 

She’s already being forgiven. It’s not her fault. Admittedly she is a truly good and kind person and you can’t find any accounts of her being 2 faced behind the scenes like Rosie Odonald for example.

But it seems you get a pass if you’re a part of the in crowd. Conservative LEADERS are responsible for everyone and everything that happens under them. Trump for example. No matter how far down the line, if any of his employees act inappropriately, it’s HIS fault!!! Liberals seem to magically adopt the personal responsibility clause when it suites them. If a producer is a dick it’s ONLY the producers fault not the boss? Typical.

 

Cancel culture.

Get them fired
Burn them at the stake
Ruin their lives

No punishment is enough, we MUST destroy.

 

As far as I am concerned, they should just cancel the show.

Ellen already has a net worth of over $300 Million and she and Portia should ride into the sunset.

There's been stories about Ellen being problematic for years now. There was an interview she had with Dakota Johnson which turned out really awkward. It also didn't help that she's friends with W - that majorly triggered the LW and ultimately is what allowed the rumors percolating about her behavior to rise to the surface. The only thing protecting her until then was the fact that, as a lesbian she was considered a "protected class" by the LW and above reproach. But the second you even look like you're friends with "the enemy" - well, you've all seen here what happens if someone who is Black disobeys the Dem Party Line - they're immediately labeled as an Uncle Tom. The same kind of mindset applies to Ellen.

Agreed. So why do Trump supporters continually blame everyone but Trump when he makes bad hires (Omorosa, Flynn, The Mooch, et al). If Trump has made a bad hire, why is always someone else's fault, never the boss?

Who is investigating her?

 

I think it's more along the lines the workplace was hostile toward certain employees and Ellen did nothing to address the problems. She is the "boss" so the workplace culture falls in her lap. Personally, I think it's something more than that as there are countless public figures who are not the best bosses and they usually get away with it. Somebody is gunning for her for reasons probably only known to a few.

 

Warner Media, the guys who bankroll her show. Seems the complaints reached critical mass.

I caught a few min. of her show last year and noticed most of her audience were young women. Probably lesbians.

She was giving away free stuff and perhaps that is why she has an audience?

She has a crazy look in her eyes. Lol

I Don't like Ellen. She's a self centered celebrity that really doesn't have any kind of talent. Other than that I don't care what her employees think. They had the right and chance to find another job if they didn't like their job. It's ironic to watch the left eat itself tho with their intolerance of anything that bothers them. It's like they think there is a Constitutional amendment against them being offended. Screw her and her snow flake employees.

 

Obviously I have no experience with her or her people but I don't think resolving the issue in public probably causes more problems than it fixes.

 

It is only public because she's a celebrity. Usually, it would be resolved behind closed doors (assuming the company even cared enough about their employee's contributions and morale).

Beyond that, her fans would want some answers if suddenly her show is canceled or restructured to take away some of her star power. That would make it impossible to keep the dirty laundry in the back room.
