Why is it that the ugliest most hateful unpatriotic people use this countries flag as a backdrop

Then people look at this great flag askance, when so many ********s use it as their symbol. Same with the bible. Same with the constitution. They have made something beautiful ugly. You will never see more flags then at a Nazi, KKK, white supremacists and Republican rally's , all symbols of what is ugly and what is the matter with this country.

 

That is what happens when people stop respecting ideologies and start worshipping demagogues. Those extremists groups have always been around, but they lurked in the shadows and gathered with like-minded, but Trump has given them a license to go public and in your face.

 

Ya, nothing like an American flag or a bible to piss off a malcontent. Now a burning Federal courthouse.... that is a different matter altogether.

 

Sorry, I stopped taking you seriously when you said that having a flag at a republican rally was something ugly.

As to the rest, they are celebrating freedom of speech. I may not like what they say, but I'll defend their right to say it.

 

I find it more amazing when those who live in the country and want to "change it" actually just want to burn it down thinking they will get freedom of speech in something different. No other country in the world has freedom of speech and what ANTIFA and BLM are doing all over the country would never fly. Also, those who supposedly love this country like the democrats have absolutely ZERO flags at their debates.

 

It's an extremely bizarre way to try and distance themselves from the other team. I don't get it. It shouldn't even be a discussion topic at the planning meeting; it should just be understood that if you want to represent America, you should show a minimum allegiance to its' flag by having one on the stage.
