Yes both the right and left have placed messiah like devotion on their candidates. The US Dems rely on the Black vote but their only interest is to get their vote and while they trust their support, they are often not reliable about getting to the polls.

COVID is a great excuse for mail in votes which will they think increase Black participation. Too dangerous to vote but Democrats will admire BLM protests. It's pretty clear Biden lumped all Blacks into one category as in all Blacks are not different from each other. If that is how he sees Black folks then it is a racist statement because people with a little common sense know that is not true. Black folks have migrated to the US from all over the world. So lets count both the slaves who were forced into slavery and brought to the US and Blacks who came to the US since 1865 looking for a better way of life.
