While I'm not totally enthralled w/ mayor Giuliani being Trump's personal lawyer on other issues, he does appear to have gotten this one, - humorously - right, lol... Too bad we couldn't have a NYC mayors (celebrity) 'grudge match' - 'in the ring debate' set up as an opening preview to the main event... (Sept. 29, 2020 - Cleveland, OH)

He addresed it to Joe Biden's basement address. Brilliant! As to Rudy Giuliani himself he should also troll Marxist Bill De Blassio by pointing out that under the radical leftist mayor NYC is financially in the gutter, suffering from off the scale crime waves, and is on the verge of having the entire NYPD come down with a massive case of a semi-permanent Blue Flu. Then he should end it with, "Do you miss me now?"

Biden should set up a debate, with a comparison of tax returns being the first question.
Why is trump afraid to come out of the tax return basement? He promised his voters he would
at the last round of debates.

Good idea @DL, lol... can we start off the event playing the Billy Bush - 'crotch'ya' tape too? Perhaps Stormy Daniels & Avenatti can narrate ~ Lame & tired deflections, imho... :)

Since the IRS has repeatedly scrutinized Trump's finances up one side and down the other -- and did so while having been politically weaponized by Obama -- and yet found nothing objectionable one wonders what the political Left expect to find and just why it is such a fetish for so many of them, since the average citizen definitely does not care.

Still Rudy's point is well made. Biden is definitely hiding from Trump, and the DNC hopes like hell that it can find a way to exempt their dementia patient candidate from having to face Trump in live debate format.

If voting is open early, the debates must be moved up.

Biden is incapable of remembering what he said in the last few minutes let alone what he "promised" months ago.

Probably because they are complicated with sensitive information that might give his enemies fodder to exploit with fake news headlines.

But if they were illegal we would have had known that by now.

So since they arent illegal...its none of your business. Trump voters dont care a wit about pouring over legal tax returns. But his enemies do.

But Biden and Trump voters have a right to know if the candidates have a coherent understanding of our current issues and what policies they advocate for.

Trump made a promise to his voters. He promised to release his tax returns like all the other candidates do. Hell, even Romney
did and he's been involved in very complex business dealings for decades.

It's about checking for conflicts of interest. Trump has hotels in Turkey, and suddenly the leader of Turkey is given special
deference by Trump. Trump wants to put up hotels in Russia and he enjoys a good relationship with Putin. Trump has no property in China and Trump has lousy relations with China. Coincidence? Not the way Trump has operated in the past.

Biden promised he would release his tax returns, and he did.
Trump promised he would release his tax returns, and he didn't.

So who is having memory problems here?

Trump voters dont care. They know there are fodder material of accusations of conflicts of interest because he had a real life as a business man, with properties world wide prior to him coming into office. He didnt spend his whole working life in politics.

Conflicts of interests should be apparent without the need for tax returns. If he owned a marketing company and he sent his campaign donations through it for instance...reaping up commissions...can be seen without tax returns.

There are just soooooo many picayune things to 'shake a stick at' w/ most peoples' tax returns - Imagine the plethora of fodder for an international 'property rich' developer... Why in gods name would anyone - esp. DJT, want to turn over that kind of 'can' with all the real or 'imagined' / concocted worms inside? (you know the MSM & y'all libs would be ever so judicious in your scrutiny) ... :)

It is relevant because of the possibility of conflicts of interest. Hell, Jimmy Carter was forced to put his little peanut farm business into a blind trust because Republicans were worried about possible conflicts with Department of Agriculture policy. Trump
is given a complete pass on any conflicts because Republicans just don't give a flying **** anymore.

And you're going to pretend that Trump has no input into policy decisions of his holdings? Common Man! He's tried to
get international conferences held at his Doral Property ... you think that was just a weird coincidence? Get real.

If Obama had held international conferences at his Chicago residence and charged
the Secret Service room and board and charged for incidentals from all attendees ...
your response would have been what?

What "policy decisions of his holdings" is Trump supposed to have taken part in?

I think it is 16 states which will allow voting BEFORE the first debate and 2/3's before the last one. There should at least be one if not more before the first vote is cast. We're all supposed to be voting with the same information and basis.

    Presidential Debate - September 27, 2016.

In response to a question about his returns, Trump said, "I don't mind releasing. I'm under a routine audit, and it will be released.
As soon as the audit is finished, it will be released."

That promise was on national TV and is recorded. The audit has been completed for over a year. Trump lied.
Unless you want to claim that what we can see and hear in an actual recording is "fake news".

Trump held international conferences at his Mar-a-Lago club - where the Secret Service and international guests were
charged for incidentals and room and board. Are you going to claim it was just "coincidence" that the meetings
    were held there?

Can you imagine if Obama had held conferences at his Chicago home and charged the Secret Service room and board?
Holy ****, you would have come unglued.
