That might be valid and I might agree with you if Trump had been doing any work aside from campaigning for the past year (or so). And right now is a bad time, for someone campaigning, to take a break away from it.

I expect that Trump gets death threats almost daily. His comments at Whirlpool, in context (as others have mentioned), directly follow his talking about the pharmaceutical Executive Order he signed recently, so that Americans get the same reduced prices on prescriptions as other countries. The order also states that we buy American pharmaceuticals. Then he talked about very wealthy "middlemen" in the pharmaceutical industry being angry at losing all those profits. It does sound like possibly a death threat may have come from that industry (foreign or domestic?), and unlike any rioting hoodlums in the protests who might want him dead, very wealthy pharmaceutical people could gain access to the White House.

Trump has not returned to the White House since that speech. He went to his private residence in Bedford, New Jersey, which is much easier for Secret Service to guard and protect.

Actually he pooped a brick. Still one recalls how the leftist loyal media outlets tried to make it seem like all GOPers wanted to 'take out' Barack after that. Funny how with many members of the political Left one bad person represents ALL of the Right but simultaneously one bad person never EVER represents any of the Left.

Prove that Trump's private residence is easier to protect. Hell, Trump is there to golf. How is that easier to protect?

Dude - you have claimed that Black Lives Matter and Antifia represent the left a hundred times on this board. Give it a rest.

The OP asked for theories about what Trump meant. That was my contribution. I don't have to "prove" that a private residence is safer than the federal White House. Shake my head.

You made a claim - was just interested if you had any reason to make such a claim. I guess you didn't.

It's both when it is presented in the form of a declaration ... as the person in question presented the claim that
Trump's private residence was easier to protect.

    Absolutely.

Trump went in the drain the swamp. That is his number one agenda. He has been building cases for years, and just before this election, he is going to drop a ton of bomb shells and expose what our government is really doing.

Just wait. It will be an October surprise like you've never seen.

The only real surprise is that Trump and his swamp have out-spent Obama and his swamp. Trump will have increased
the National Debt more in 4 years than Obama did in 8 years.

Yep. "Election year" is the simplest theory to explain taking four sentences out of a 54 minutes speech and asking "What did he mean?" That's the easy-button answer to anything any politician says or does a few months before an election.

    Solved! :)

Are you saying antifa and BLM represents the right? How so?

No. I was pointing out the hypocrisy of the previous poster for claiming that the left uses the actions of the few to claim right wing moral stances, while at the same time he was using the actions of BLM and Antifa to claim they represent all people to the left of him.

I saw a FB video today (not sure who it was, hard to see on my phone) and the guy was announcing all the indictments of all the key players involved with trying to bring down Trump. They didn't mention shillary but they said it's only the beginning.
It is Facebook though, we shall see.

First of all, if it's true, it's good news. We can do without seeing Trump's ugly mug.
But I am afraid we will be seeing a lot of him still, as he has no plans of going anywhere after the election. (If he loses.)

Be prepared to watch that stupid grin refuse to concede defeat because his paranoia tells him the election was rigged.

We haven't seen the last of Trump.

We haven't seen the worst of him.

Do you believe that Russia is timing this to help the US election or is it just coincidental and the "middle men" are just upset they won't get a piece of the pie?

Many don't seem to think he'll be able to concede gracefully if he loses the election but is there something more?

What do you think "the worst of him" might be?

~ I believe we are beginning to realize that the Wuhan virus was indeed timed to destroy Trump's economy and chance of reelection.

Well, I mean we won't have seen the worst of Trump until the moment of the election.

I heard Trump is manipulating the US Postal service, causing needless delays to voting-by-mail so that results might not be complete on election night.

Even if the overall result says he's lost, Trump will refuse to concede defeat because some mailed in votes were not counted.

But do you think those missing votes by mail will ever turn up?

Of course not. It's not in Trumps interest to have an election where ALL the votes are counted.
He knows he's gonna lose so he needs a claim that the election is incomplete.
Then he can postpone his departure indefinitely.

If a criminal says the election is rigged, pay attention. For the criminal usually does the rigging.

There's your worst of Trump and it will be even worse for the American people.

could it be Trump wanted the virus to spread, some say the reason Trump shutdown the economy is because he knew it was failing, and the only way for him to inject trillions into the mega corps was to use the virus crisis to do so, if that did not work, he would blame it on the virus, win\win as far as Trump was concerned
