Might as well call it the Trump virus because he is the primary reason that roughly 1,000 Americans are still dying every day from covid-19.

The Chinese virus didn't come from Trump, it came from China.

    Chinese virus.

Americans are dying from Covid-19, a virus that Trump promised would "disappear like a miracle."

And while you may want to dismiss or even embrace the racism that comes from wrongly denoting the virus based on its country of origin, I will focus on the fact that the single worst performance to the virus, from any country, has come from the country currently led by trump.

The Chinese virus is killing lots of people in India.

    Capture.PNG Capture1.PNG

Do you think they give a crap about your political correctness and your Trump butthurt?

Or do you think they're more concerned with the Chinese virus from China that's killing them?

I feel really confident that they are more concerned about Covid-19 instead of trying to find some political scapegoat to blame all things bad on everyone else, like donald trump.

And it is really ****ing ironic that the same political scapegoat that Trump is using right now - China - is the same country that he repeatedly and explicitly praised in the early weeks of the outbreak because of their response to the virus and their transparency. In fact, he praised them so much that his advisors repeatedly warned him that he was being too soft on China.

Why do we need a scapegoat? The virus came from China. It's right there in the name-

    Chinese virus.

Still a racist and incorrect term.

But will you let me know when it occurs to you that the fact that you have resorted to comparing America's response to Indian, a country which you almost certainly consider to be a "****-hole country," tells you just how poorly Trump has done in response to his virus?

Trump started off his Presidency trying to ban disease carrying foreigners from entering the country and now he has turned Americans into the disease carrying foreigners that are banned from entering every other country.

Could you please use the term President Trump to refer to him and not use this stupid TDS wording?

Racist? Chinese is a race now? China is a country, not a race. It's the country where the Chinese virus came from.

Is 'Coxsackie virus' racist against people who live in Coxsackie, NY?

I'll consider your position when people stop using terms like Covidiot and Trump Virus.

You are strongly encouraged to ask if I give a **** about the semantics of whether the term is racist, bigoted, xenophobic, or just offensive to a massive percentage of the population.

You are comparing different metrics-the ABC poll was of very enthusiastic voters.

You cite "net enthusiasm" which isn't the same metric. However in each study, Trump is far ahead you amazingly left that out (68% to 40%). <---Im gonna bold that because you wanted your number bolded without its relevant comparison.

And voter enthusiasm is key because its what correlates with voter turnout-which is not the same as "strongly disproving" of a candidate.

Sino-virus or Chi-Vi also accurately describe it.

Is that where the Chinese virus came from? China?

I'm thinking that's probably why they call it the Chinese virus. Makes perfect sense.

If your theory about people not being motivated to vote against those that they strongly disapprove were true, then you would see that effect show up in a question on their enthusiasm to vote. As I already linked, Biden supporters are just as motivated to vote.

And here is an ABC/Washington Post poll from July 19th which finds the "very enthusastic" support for Biden at 36%, so pretty much on par with the other poll that found it at 40%.

I don't disagree with the notion that Trump voters are more enthusiastic to support Trump than Biden voters are enthusiastic about their support of Biden. But that only tells half the story because Biden's supporters are much more likely to strongly disapprove of Trump than Trump's supporters are to strongly disapprove of Biden. Combined that means that Trump is the one facing a net enthusiasm deficit.

And that's before you take into account the message from Trump that 2020 is going to be the most fraudulent and rigged election in US history. So why should his supporters bother to vote at all?

He used the correct language regarding the china virus... Would you prefer that he say "rice-a-rona" as I do? Or would you prefer a more recent favorite of mine, the "controlyavirus"??

I feel like you are trying to slow roll me or something.

Your comparison between two studies on Biden are immaterial. The comparison is between Biden and Trump in EITHER study, and wouldn't you know it, its even wider now than it was in the poll I posted-so thank you for bolstering my case...

And why is enthusiasm for more important than enthusiasm against? Because enthusiasm FOR is what gets people to vote.

This is one reason I constantly tell lefties they can't hate their way into the White House.

And when I supply articles about WHY voter enthusiasm matters they don't understand.

The Chinese are not a race. They comprise multiple ethnicities.

    Words mean things.
