Well I am talking about controlling violence during demonstrations. Now a neighborhood watch deal with patrols would be the thing to do in Afro-American areas. Setting up a separate police force is crazy. That would be would tantamount to vigilantism. Defund the police is one stupid assed slogan I have said since the first time I heard it. There are no serious adult proponents of doing away with police. What the few rational heads among the Defunders are saying is that the social services part of the police work should be moved away from the police. Only fools or anarchists would want to do away with police.

I am not liking the BLM movement but I have yet to see facts showing it to be Marxist. Could be but I have not seen it. I must be jaded with all of the racist, fascist, Marxust, socialist accusations and labels flying around.
I know one or two of the BMLimmer leaders talked about economic restructuring which is very suspect but Marxism is something specific albeit very dangerous.

 

We all ( virtually all ) could go after someone, some group, some government for reparations. My parents did qualify to get some small dinky payment from Germany due to their being in forced labor camps. My dad was suffering from Alzheimer's at that time but when I told him that I had the application ready to go he told me that he did not want their" *******ned Nazi money". I had power of attorney gif him and was going to file it anyway but he died some after. My mom sends her payment to an organization that rebuilds Chatholic Churches in Ukraine.

I would like to have Russia pay Ukraine for the millions of people Stalin starved to death in the 1930's. I would like to have Russia pay for for sending both of my grandfathers to Siberia.

Black Lives Matter co-founder describes herself as ‘trained Marxist’

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said in a newly surfaced video from 2015 that she and her fellow organizers are “trained Marxists” – making clear their movement’s ideological foundation, according to a report.

Cullors, 36, was the protégé of Eric Mann, former agitator of the Weather Underground domestic terror organization, and spent years absorbing the Marxist-Leninist ideology that shaped her worldview, Breitbart News reported.

“The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza.

“We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,” Cullors added in the interview with Jared Ball of The Real News Network.

The woman I think her name is Cullen did claim to be a "trained Marxist" whatever that means. It is crazy that anyone would be stupid enough to be a Marxist.

Read the article I am not telling you they are practicing Marxists but if they say they are we will go with that. Read the article it gives an insight now people from both sides of the political divide view BLM and not understand what it is and isn't. The Marxist admission by Cullen is very disturbing and should be.

 

I don't think that will happen. In today's environment, a juror voting to acquit is a dead juror. If it goes to trial, he'll be found guilty.

 

You act like it's the same thing. We have data proving there is a minuscule percentage of cops who are bad. We also have data showing that blacks commit an overwhelmingly disproportionate amount of the violent crime. You can't just equate the two as if each side is doing the same thing.
