If this is real and worked what a conundrum for the raging lefties that have expressed their hatred for "the Russians".

 

That is surprising. How did they figure that one out, unless they compared it to those who had the virus and how long their immunity lasted - or maybe not. Who knows! What I read in the Greek news, is that they have billions of orders - probably from China and India.

I look forward to the results of transparent clincal trials in other nations backing up the Russian data and the vaccine being approved for use.

Given the lack of transparency in Russia I will withold judgement until such data is available.

The World needs several months of Independent Trials.

At least until the end of the year, with impeccable clinical data as to efficacy, safety, and minimal side effects.

This "Russia has a vaccine" reminds me of that old joke about the space race.

Russia bragged about landing several astronauts on the Moon LONG before Apollo 11.

Of course, it took America to figure out a way to bring them back.

I am putting no faith (whatsoever) into this Russian Vaccine.

 

If/when the vaccine fails clinical trials outside Russia expect the usual suspects to concoct all manner of fairly predictable conspiracy theories. Without having read through this entire thread I wouldn't be surprised if they have already started laying the ground for this.

 

Not as much as we do but - they do lie Not sure what Russia has lied about here though - it is not like Putin is like Trump - who can't seem to break wind without telling a fib.

 

What is there to believe or disbelieve here ? It is not like Russia said this thing was fully tested -

So far - they have positive results - the main thing being no serious side effects - which usually come out fairly quickly.

Yeah, that's one of a few reasons I remain skeptical. There's no way to know that at all yet, and every reason to doubt it with there being evidence that immunity only lasts a few months.

Russia has barely finished a phase 2 test for this vaccine and is now starting a phase 3 test..

Its a just propaganda

 

Its my understanding that the problem is with how fast the virus mutates and whether the antibodies will be effective against it or not after several months of mutation.

 

The US has at least one vaccine but instead of rushing it out and using citizen’s as test monkeys the vaccines are undergoing clinical trials.
Your attempt to make Russia look good actually makes them look bad.
