    I agree that Trump is responsible for the demise of our fellow Americans due to his mishandling of this Virus but he could not have made it a law. Maybe a EO thatbwould have been smashed down by the SC. What the Buffon should have done is strongly asked the people to comply.

    Here’s the trailer for your Biden presidency Americans. Mandates across the entire country and likely with heavy fines (equally distributed across each income category, which for some reason is NOT considered regressive)

    The states are presently laboratories but that of course will change now.

    Don’t be surprised if speech minimizing the danger of the virus also begins to be prosecuted under the guise of yelling fire in a crowded theatre. Thank you Justice Holmes.

    I would agree it's meaningless and pointless, and I'm not sure of the legal authority to do it on a national level. But face masks seem to be one of those things that leaves science on the wayside in order to give people the feeling that they are doing something.

    LOL.. it's a REQUEST... you don't need authority to make a request.

    As far as wearing a mask outside ALL THE TIME, I'm opposed to that.... I wear it indoors when required (pretty much everywhere I go here), but I do several outdoor activities where I don't, including golf (except paying), walks, and yardwork.

    I assume that's what Joe is referring to when he says outside.

    The Democrat Party has zero respect for individual (and Constitutional) states' rights. They think the federal government should regulate and rule over the lives of every American through authoritarian nationwide rule.

    Anyway, they couldn't implement a nationwide mask mandate even if they want to. State governors are still largely responsible for the health policies of the people in each state.

    Expect much more of these types of tyrannical controls over our daily lives if these two get in. Looks like Biteme wants to follow the Governor Whitmer covid response model for the whole country. Heard he got along with her the best, now I can see why.

    Yes, I guess placebos actually do a bit of good. Since the Dems started losing significant cash revenue through lockdowns this is the way for them to save face (no pun intended).

    It’s also a way to force people to effectively wear the equivalent of an arm band identifying with a cause they don’t necessarily believe in. Look at all the masks so this MUST be a health crisis!

    And I’m sure if Biden were president he could issue an executive order.

    Probably a good idea even though nobody is in love with having to wear them.

    One trick you can try to keep your mask fresh is to spray it lightly with Lysol after you've worn it and then let it dry completely. If you have a couple of masks you can rotate them and they may last you a long time.
