It would be great to have a black republican in the office.
This would make it very hard for them to race bait and much harder to propagate lies that republicans are racist (although i'm sure there are some out there).
I like that he has the guts not to do as his "masters" tell him to do.

He's a thorn in their side and he won't back down.

Plus he may swing a few states towards Trump.

Always nice to have a backup plan.

Have to keep the Kanye thread alive, because I have a morbid desire to watch train wrecks...

This is in Wisconsin, where his submission is being challenged on many many levels, including legible signatures, fake addresses and names, and the timing of the submission...

    Here's the statute:

    upload_2020-8-13_16-59-52.png

It apparently was filed at 5:00:14.... Kanye's "legal team" is arguing that this timestamp meets the deadline

    I Love this Country!!

I took an informal poll in my house without giving the details.... It was 4-0 that 5:00:01 is "later than 5pm"...

The legal argument is that 5:00:00 lasts until 5:00:59.

But thats besides the point, firstly because usual doors were locked because of covid-she had to wait for certain doors to be unlocked.

And secondly, and most importantly the Election Commission acts in good faith-its reasonable that a delay of 14 seconds is not malicious, particularly in light of the above.

All already posted in this thread, but yes-it is entertaining and kinda fun.

From todays news we get word that not only is the GOP promoting Kanye's candidacy but Jared Kushner is also one of his political advisors????

Apparently Kushner and Kanye have been friends for over a decade.

They both happened to be in colorado, they met and discussed policy which is perfectly acceptable.

Kanye has offered the New York Times the opportunity for an interview to clarify, they should accept.

As you may know, Kanye is on the ballot in Colorado.

In 2016, Hillary won there by just under 5 points.

It would be awesome if the combination of Bidens lame campaign, and Kanye running gave the state to Trump.

Ohio and Wisconsin went to Trump, but by slim margins. I'd like to see the same dynamic there, where Kanye is also running.

The only black folks who might vote for Kanye are black folks that would vote for Trump. If anything that strategy is going to blow up in their face.

Apologies... I didn't see you had this covered on Tuesday...

I'm 99% sure they'll win the time argument just based on the closeness, even though 5:00:59 is after 5pm, but he's going to lose on the bogus names and fraud committed to get signatures...

Add Wisconsin to Illinois and NJ...

See, you and a few others have said that.

But then again, I see the media working overtime worrying about Kanye and democrat party lawyers trying to take him down-which suggests otherwise. If they thought it would work against Trump they would be helping him out, or at least not attacking him.

And the reason is because he could indeed make things harder, if not change the game in several states.

Also, Kanye gave an interview a while back where he said even if he does not win (which he can't at this point), he wants to make sure Biden loses.

Now, apparently Kanye met with Kushner in Colorado recently (the MSM is shrieking about it), but don't worry they are old friends and only talking about policy. Kanye was probably only telling Kushner about his time on Chappelle show.

Yes its true that Utah is largely a Republican/independent state.

However this also increases Kanye''s visibility elsewhere, like neighboring Colorado.

Thats a nice chunk of electoral votes Colorado has.

Be a shame if something happened to them.

Heh AJ, Im watching the DNC livestream on ABC, and they are already talking about Kanye.

One commentator said Kanye has a lot of pull with younger voters and he absolutely could impact the election.

About as plausible as 105% voter turnout in blue districts, I suppose.
