    That one line of plagiarism will get you at least a failed grade in academia. You might fail the class for the year and face some sort of academic censure.

    It isn't important how many lines it is. It is the fact that he knowingly swiped someone else's original work and presented it as his own, thinking the change of a few words would hide the theft. It is the intent that is important, not the length.
    He should have simply quoted the original in its entirety giving credit.

    One CBC reporter pointed out that some people on Canadian Twitter noticed similarities. They didn't call it plagiarism. Some of course also noted that someone else said the first line over 100 years ago.

    Anti Trump is the only reason one needs to vote for Biden. I would vote for a pile of dog **** over Trump and the pile of **** would be a far better POTUS than Trump.

    Like all the plagorizing that trump family does??

    Melania used a cpl of speeches. I believe it was when she talked at the inauguration was one of them.

    Trump uses copywrite music at every rally even tho the musicians have repeatedly told him to stop.
    No same musician wants to be associated with the creep...

    True. I posted one of them myself. The point I was trying to convey is his handlers and writers KNOW the media will grab hold of the slightest thing and run with it. They all had the responsibility to make his speech ironclad with no mistakes or "borrowed" words. It looks bad when he finally does speak and this happens.
