Joe Biden accused of plagiarizing Canadian politician in DNC speech

He’s an overly cautious politician who sometimes says idiotic things.

 

That's true which is why there are proper procedures for borrowing previously published/spoken words. It would have been simple to just give the credit where it is due and keep moving forward.

 

It’s also proof that Biden doesn’t have an original thought. And his thoughts change depending on who’s telling him what to say.

 

Yes and why? because for the last year he as sounded like a character from the Fat Albert cartoon. Sailing over a bar set to it's lowest position is nothing to celebrate.

 

To who? Canadian guy? Marvin Gay? MLK?
Does he have to give credit if he says come on man? I doubt he came up with that...

 

And I hope he appreciates republicans setting it there lol

People were whining that he was "hiding out in his basement" and he comes out to accept the nomination and the speech, while delivered/read well, has at least two glaring mistakes...

(1) question of plagiarism, and
(2) "and there's never been anything we have been able to accomplish when we've done it together" (just posted by another poster).

He and his staff knew everything would be analyzed and critiqued.

One line, okay. Problem is, there's been more than one line that Joe's plagiarized - it's more than a coincidence, now it's a pattern.

 

Nobody cares if a politician says something someone else said. In fact we expect it lol

 

Oh but there is more. Joe's entire speech9m Aside from the plagiarizing) was nothing more than bits of speeches he has given in the past pasted together. It was literally Joe Biden's least greatest hits.

 

You can just smell the desperation. its fun.

 

Falsely accusing him of assault didn’t work, so now the angle is to claim that he said something that kind of sounds like something a bunch of other people have said

So, what are your thoughts on Joe Biden for the last nearly fifty years telling everyone his first wife was killed by a drunk truck driver when that has never been the case?

 

And in 50 years in public politics those accomplishments amount to really minor things.

I haven’t seen the guys breathalyzer results but it Sounds like he’s allowed grief to cloud his judgement.

 

I could care less if Biden takes lines from some other politician, author or whatever. It is completely unimportant. Trump is massively failing as President. He is a danger to this nation. Any inadequacies in Biden are minuscule compared to the rampant incompetence, amorality and complete inability to serve that are all manifest in Trump. I will vote against Trump in November and then oppose much of the Democratic agenda during a Biden administration (if he wins that is). It is the simple and painful math that Trump is several orders of magnitude worse than Biden in all possible measures.

To put it in perspective, to help you grasp what is meant by "orders of magnitude", a crack addled chimpanzee would be a superior candidate to Trump.

On this scale of measure, Biden concerns me not in the least.

 

The other pattern is democrats never chose Biden to be their president twice before.
