You're talking about the caronavirus? Trump instituted a partial travel ban on China and delayed a ban on Europe until New York was hit hard. He lost valuable time on testing. Compare us to Canada.



For most of the first month, Canada was in a worse position than we were. Like us, they have a federal system. Provinces were requiring most people coming from outside the province to quarantine. But the provinces got together with the federal government and agreed to standards they would all support.

That's understandable. Nevertheless, the POTUS did retweet about a doctor claiming that she had success with using hydroxychloroquine. The implication was it was some kind of "miracle" cure and that's how the media treated it.

Further, he did use the word "miracle" when commenting on the virus back in February 2020.
