Segregation is coming back folks. And the ones pursuing it? Leftists.

MLK and millions of others fought hard to end segregation. And when it finally happened, when all those "white only" signs were torn down, millions rejoiced and this country was made better.

Now leftists are bringing it back. And leftists are rejoicing at it.

You do your research ahead of time to find if the uni your child is looking into is organizing in this sort of culture.

It’s a peaceful social experiment, and it’s not a government mandate, so it’s not so easy to fight, I’d say, as what we’ve traditionally seen. First thing is vehemently not accept it by choosing other schools.

 

I lived in 20 years on Orange County, California. Which was, and still is to a lesser extent, a home of a number of Republican and Right Wing areas.

Even as I stop by some of the old haunts, there are areas where a black and others of People of Color will be suggested to "move along" in ways subtle and some not-so-subtle.

Large parts of Washington State and Idaho also have lots of areas where POC need to find other places to live or visit.

 

Segregation is illegal. This is a university. It's something for college kids to do. Sorry, not gonna lose any sleep over this.

 

Biden fought for segregation as most Democrats did in his heyday in Congress. Maybe these kids are just showing Biden love.

 

I'm aware of Biden opposing busing, which he did in response to his constituents' wishes, but I'm not familiar with Biden "fighting" for segregation. Can you provide a citation, please? Then, get yourself back to the 21st century. The topic isn't historical.

 

These "kids" are also supposed to be the future of this country. Do you really want to see the future today? Because you're seeing it through them.

 

The democrats must be happy that the good old days are coming back. They will win that Civil War yet.

Kids grow up to be adults. Whatever they're doing with this, it's not a preview of imminent segregation. Such a notion is absurd. This is exactly what I'd expect a university to be doing. Universities are institutions of research. I don't understand your panic. Who is making you think this way?

What this points out is the problems that diversity and inclusion bring to society. It is a difficult problem. It seems to be the right thing to do but it doesn't work very well.

 

So if a school has racial segregation, that's OK and if you don't like it, find another school?

One receives backlash while the other doesn't? They BOTH should have received backlash. But I'm not really all that surprised that only the one for "non people of color" (seriously? why not just say whites?) is the one that did.

Oh really? What part of Idaho would that be? I see people of color in every part of the state, they seem content.

 

How many of those places are smoldering ruins? How many of those place had riots? What is the crime rate in those regions? What is the wealthy inequality in those regions? Do you really want to do deep analysis comparing those regions with Blue regions? Do you really think the Blue regions will come up looking better? If they are a bunch of bigots you are free not to live there.

The problem with Blue areas is that minorities are failing in those areas. They have been expressing their rage against their governance for the past 6 months. Progressive policies have clearly not solved any problems for them. It doesn't make much sense to me. You constantly tell them that the system is rigged against them while at the same time controlling the reins of power in their districts. How do you think that is going to turn out for Democrats?

 

Yeah, I live in one of the smallest towns in Idaho (not the smallest, but close) and my cousins are doing quite well.

 

Really where, make them known if this is true. I grew up in South and had black friends my whole life and never seen such a place but he would love to hear where they are in California.
