I would say "dozens of vets said" is pretty anecdotal.

You’re right. The scheme did backfire. You did claim that Congress approved it, which is false.

Besides, now that you’re pretending that this was some long term plan, perhaps you can explain why everyone in the Post Office was shocked when DeJoy started firing shots. He had no meetings, did not consult his staff, In fact, he made none of the normal preparations any manager would take when preparing to implement a major change. Nothing.

And, perhaps you can explain why it failed so spectacularly, and so fast.

Even for the Trump Administration, this level of epic chaos and deliberately induced dysfunction is noteworthy.

But you’re right. It did backfire.

The plan that you refer to mentions none of the things DeJoy did.

Reliable surveys, representing the entire electorate, are done with very small samples of the electorate. a dozen so anecdotal testimonies will help give some kind of picture, short of an actual survey, but it doesn't have to be a big number as you seem to be implying.

It doesn't even give an analysis of why these couple of dozen out of millions had a delay. And those are parcel post, nothing to do with the handling of ballots which are letters.
