October is approaching. October surprises will abound. So I wanted to get this on record in September so I can reference later. If I'm right, of course. If I'm wrong... I hope it hides deep in page 20 of the forum. ;-)

Anyway... I'm not saying that The Lincoln Project is a "secret". What I mean is that it's a weapon that could go far beyond what people expect.

The Lincoln Project comes from the people who gave us unforgettable classics like "The Swift-boaters" and "Them's Death Panels, I'm tellin' ya!". In other words, they will not be deterred by small "inconveniences" like facts. They never did against Gore, or against Kerry... or against Obamacare... they'll lie their hearts out!

This is completely new to Democrats. We have always been "shy" about such outright lies. We are not used to it. And I hope we never do. But these elections are the most consequential in history. And the death of RBG made it 100 times more consequential. Democrats need to win, no matter what. Using tactics that have always been the domain of the right, whether we like it or not, is an effective weapon.

But here's the "twist". Democrats were sorta becoming used to this. They were starting to have little effect. Even some independents were starting to realize that maybe... they were being had (because they were being had) by Republican strategists.

If I know something about independents, they are not typically very well informed. So they might not realize that The Lincoln Group just... changed sides. And, of course, Republicans are used to be in the "delivering" side of dirty propaganda. But they are not accustomed to being in the receiving side. And we must consider the fact that some Republicans who might be "on the fence" about Trump, have believed this type of propaganda for years. So it might be more effective than even we are thinking.

I am including the tag "lincoln" in this thread. So I can easily find it after the elections. Or whenever I need it. Just in case I'm right.

Here's a useful tip for you: Read the OP before responding.

The whole post. Not just the title.

I wouldn't count on this now with the Court on the line....many anti-trumpers still don't want the left to destroy the Court......and we know that is their goal.

Why? I didn't think it was worth reading. It was more fun to mess with you.

Even more interesting that you don't seem to realize that the members of the Lincoln Project are all Republicans.

You should refer to post #5.

Only if you think that not making a fool of yourself is worth it.

But, other than that, I do state in the post that I wrote it as a reference so I can come back to it in case I need it after November 3rd (or beyond). I just needed to document that I wrote this in September.

Can other posters add tags here or only OPs? I'd like to add "male bovine excrement" and "epic projection".

    Republicans killed Lincoln?

Is that a new QAnon conspiracy theory?

Sorry. The democrats "secret weapon" is named after the guy another one of their "secret weapons" killed. Dems had no part in the naming.

Ok Kids stop with the funnies and let's just all swear to keep the OP's secret. If that fails to materialize we can always start impeachment proceedings.
As for Lincoln, he was a tall guy with a funny hat that freed the slaves from the democrats.

I prefer them becoming wealthy by making Biden President than what they did before these elections: becoming wealthy by making (or attempting to make) a Republican President
