These are not protesters, they're rioters turned terrorists. Threatening to burn down someone's home is a crime to be taken seriously, especially from the rioting blm terrorists. As such, any and all threats should be treated like they would if one of us made them. And threatening to burn down someone's home because they flying the American flag is a true sign that these people are brainwashed. Guess who they're voting for in November?
When you see a house where the homeowner is flying the American flag, it is decidedly more likely that the family that lives there is a Conservative family. EVERYBODY knows that. Lib/prog/socialists won't admit that.

I would argue that the reason why they threaten to burn down the homes of people flying the American flag is because they hate America and everything to do with it - individual freedom, free enterprise/capitalism, our Constitution which was explicitly written with totalitarians and collectivists (see my signature) like them in mind, etc., etc.. Of course, they hate everyone who supports this country and the individual freedom it is built on, too. As we know, the core elements in the riots consist of Marxist, Anarchist and Anarcho-Marxist Nihilists, whether they be ANSWERniks, BLM, AntiFa, whatever, and while many of them are uncivilized animals who are into destruction for nothing more than destruction's sake many of them are well-read individuals who are morally, intellectually and consciously committed to their ideological cause. Because these people don't understand things like human nature, economics and a host of other things, it's easy to dismiss them as weak-minded, misguided and/or ignorant, but when we do that we run the risk of underestimating them. Let's not forget that people just like them turned revolutionary France into an ocean of blood before the Thermidorian Reaction. Let's not forget that people just like them created the monstrous Soviet superpower and the rising monstrous superpower in China, along with all the rest of the communist-socialist dictatorships that killed 100 million people during the last century. Now, take a look at all the destruction they have caused across America. Look at how people in positions of power, whether it be in government, the media, academia, etc., are openly aligned with them or have been cowed into submission. Does this look familiar? It should, because we've seen this before. These people aren't stupid. They are methodical and well organized, but ultimately what makes them so dangerous - as is the case with their totalitarian Islamist cousins - is their fanaticism. This is a trait that you generally don't find in conservatives and it gives them a dangerous edge. Furthermore, being Nihilists, they have no moral compunction: The ends justify the means. By any means necessary. There's one more bit of historical perspective I think we need to keep in mind, too. These fanatics see themselves as "revolutionaries" but they're not. They're the same old forces of authoritarianism and totalitarianism that have plagued humanity since time immemorial. They're not "progressives", they're reactionaries who are trying to destroy thousands of years of human progress in the long struggle for individual freedom and sovereignty over our own affairs and government. They are not the future, they are the dark ancient past, and the long arc of history is not with them. They are fighting tooth and nail against it. You're right - these people are not protesters, and I would contend they are much worse than rioters and terrorists. They claim to be about social justice but they are its eternal enemies. They are no different than the French Jacobins, Russian Bolsheviks and German National Socialists who used the same tactics of mob violence and intimidation to achieve their goals. The only thing these fanatics care about is power, and they're the last people who should possess it. In many liberals States I gather one would have to flee their house, i.e., run while a mob burned it down. That won't be happening in WV where I live.
It is worse in Portland for a variety of reasons, but on the other side of the country in Richmond, VA it's still going on primarily because the mayor and city council have been equally permissive.For many cities it's just been a matter of degree. True, the majority of the protesters are white ANSWERniks who are taking advantage of this opportunity to violently express their anti-American and anti-capitalist sentiments again - this isn't their first rodeo, but it's been their most violent. They don't give a damn about social justice and they're discrediting and distracting from the attempts ordinary blacks are making to remedy the problems with our law enforcement and judicial systems.
