So are you going to accuse our country of being a "nanny state" because of all the alcohol, cigarettes, drug laws, and health and safety regulations for sold products?

Both states and the federal government have regulations on food products and the like.

I think it gives them a sense of security. It can be scary growing up, leaving the nest, and being responsible.

Life isn't a bubble. Almost every action you take imposes in some way or another they people who live and work around you. More so for
people in higher density areas. It's just the way it is. You can pretend you are an island, but it just isn't so.

As I said- I misread the article. The law dictates where the store can show those items, which still is an intrusion, but does not prevent the sale of them.
Stay tuned, they may come to that. A state that can order farmers to capture cow farts is capable of anything.

Don't be silly. While their are interactions that are necessary, those are not the things that dictate who or what you are. Personal choices like ordering a super-size drink for example is hardly the business of anyone else, but plenty of people think they should get to prevent it. With so many lacking character these days and unwilling to respect others, they will take that as far as you will allow them too.
If you can't call it out and say no, they will own and control you. If you are OK with that- that's your business, so long as you don't look to me for relief.

Is it possible that any thinking person that is capable of placing one foot in front of the other, not be able to see that this would be the norm if democrats get the house senate and whitehouse?

Yah...I don't worry myself over who you perceive as needing protection in regards to kit kats. I'll leave that to you
And I'm not sure about how much "protecting" is going on since, again, people can still buy junk food.

Left wingers forcing people to eat a certain way isn't on the front stage now....the left wing Chinese Govt (that is actively supporting the Biden campaign) is forcing Muslims to eat PORK and drink booze...

Faith doesn't matter...your diet doesn't matter.....it's only the STATE.....the Chinese backed Biden Campaign will likely follow

Well give it time and enough folks with the "nonchalant" attitude towards overreach and that will most likely change ;)

so allow them to sell cigarettes and alcohol in the aisles too?

and why can't smokers order cigarettes and alcoholic drinks from Amazon, that is more than just not allowing them to display them

all from our current government food guidelines to eat high carbs and low fat

they should call it the corporate diet, as it's not for our health, it was for corporate health
