    do you think Trump would ever actually do it, or just promise to do it prior to the election...

    Trump is President now, so do it right now, nothing stopping him (other than the fact he never plans to do it)

    Sure, designate the KKK as a domestic terrorist organization. I think we have far greater security concerns but the DHS has shown itself to be a joke anyway with that disturbingly inaccurate report.

    I've become something of a Libertarian Republican as it regards these federal agencies. Their argument on defunding the DHS and other agencies is on solid financial ground.

    It's a proposal which would require Congress' approval.

    If he thought it would get him reelected he would surely do it, but I think it's a gimmick. If he were a Democrat, Republicans would say he was pandering.

    Of course he's pandering. All politicians do. Question is if he will actually try and get it done. I have no doubt that he actually will try. Whether he succeeds or not is another story. Democrats won't like that he's pandering to blacks and using their own playbook. They will no doubt do all that they can to make it a failure.

    Pelosi should work on passing such a bill in the next couple weeks, then see if Republicans in the Senate will pass it or not
