You just shot your claims of not being in favor of everyone catching this to hell since that IS the policy of Sweden (herd immunity)

And oh yea...letting all those people die didn't help their economy. Their neighbors who did NOT sacrifice the elderly, are doing as well if not better economically

You suggested, not I. Heard immunity and a vaccine would shorten the amount of time you would need to protect them. Limiting healthy peoples exposure in our current state will only lengthen their current quarantine conditions.

I also noticed you took out the rest of my response. Are you just not wanting to respond to the actual effects of locking down nations?

They go in but they never come out. In one piece anyway.

Because the left wing called him racist for attempting to do so. Now the left is paying for it...

How could they wiggle their way through a racism charge if all travel to the US from any country was banned?

He's racist against white people? LOL.

Either way, though, he seems to have no issue triggering the lefties just for shits-n-giggles, so he should also use that power for good.

Well it's a hard decision. Ban travel from every country and our businesses suffer here in our homeland. We saw the effects immediately.

I'd hate to be in that position.

Me too. It's a tough call, but it looks like it would have put us in a much better position to push this thing back. Hindsight is 20/20, though.

The left is hell-bent on ignoring the real problems with this administration. They prefer to naval gaze over the nothing-burgers. It really goes both ways, though. Team R spent way to much talking about the imaginary stuff Obama was doing, instead of having real conversations about the problems with his administration.

I think for many people, it's just easier to be mean-spirited and petty, than to think these tough issues through and try to see them from a variety of points-of-view.

Both sides do clash constantly. I did have a chuckle when you said "imaginary things" obama was doing though.

Every president does illegal and shady crap.

Absolutely. When I say imaginary, here's the type of thing the left bitches about: Trump declared Thanksgiving a national holiday!! How does he not know it's been a holiday for a couple hundred years!

The right chose some equally stupid reasons to hate Obama.

But I'd go one further - not only do all presidents do illegal/shady crap, I'd say the other 535 in DC do as well. They are all corrupt.

Travel was NOT banned from every country. Europe had unrestricted travel until well into March and travel was only LIMITED and NOT banned from China. And oh yea... those coming in from China were not isolated or quarantined. Good job Trump

I had either Covid or seasonal flu in January. It was definitely pulmonary. Two weeks of constant coughing. I have no idea what it was but I was glad when it subsided. I've been tested for Covid but not tested for antibodies.

You probably had it. I'm guessing the cough was unproductive.

My sister in law's mother and father got covid on tue. The mother has emphysema....so she immediately went to hospital to keep close watch but her symptoms subsided some and they sent her home. She still doesnt feel well but no pneumonia.

My brother and his family had been visiting them last weekend. So Wednesday upon hearing that my sister in laws parents had COVID, they all were tested with the rapid test and results were negative.

That evening the 13 year old girl had fever and symptoms. They took her in and had her tested with the regular test and 3 days later the results came back positive for COVID. By then, the rest of the family came down with symptoms and they are waiting on there results but they assume they have it.

With all the quarantine policies in place my brother will be out of work for a month at least.

Symptoms are flu like, with a cough. The 13 year olds symptoms have subsided.

    My Friend died of it.

My buddies mother died of it

A coworkers uncle died of it

Another close friend fought it for 7 weeks and nearly died. Strokes...seizure...pulmonary embolisms..recovered but damaged

    Still not allowed to drive

I know dozens of others who have had it. Almost to a man they said it was the sickest they had ever been

You do realise that a fetus and a neonate are simply different stages of development of the same organism?

yep, and a sperm and an egg could create a baby, but most wont

doctor induced and natural abortions end the process, most women have many abortions in their lifetimes, most natural

but again, a topic for another thread

But a fetus and a baby are the same thing.
    Different stages of development.

You wanna yank it out, what do i care?
Just don't use the non factual defense that it's not a baby

I think my wife had it in November. She had a high fever and a lower lung infection. The fever lasted 5 days and the lung infection bothered her for months. My coworker tested positive this week. I found out Monday, took the test yesterday and will find out this morning. I have no symptoms.

The PCR tests are extremely unreliable. Best of luck to you!
