Nope, there are provisions in law for an article such as this, as long as the sources were legitimately obtained.

the made sure the articles were legal, I assure you on that point, and they are covered by first amendment and a overriding public interest. this is the president of the united states.

The problem with your premise is that he is living a life of luxury without income.

    Something stinks.

    Avoiding taxes is legal.

Evading taxes is illegal. So says the IRS.

What makes you believe that is illegal? Public figures and actors get different deductions than you might have.

Edit: My yard guy gets to depreciate his lawn mower, but doesn't mean I can.

I suppose if you are going to run on higher taxes and eroding the second amendment, you have to make this an issue. You really have no other move at this point.

I just can't get past how congress and the State of NY can't get these documents, but Racheal Maddow and the NYT somehow can.

Morality isn't a question of legality. The IRS is immoral.

    Evading taxes is moral.

Uhh we haven't seen any records and we certainly haven't seen anything indicating tax evasion lol. In fact the only official 1040 we saw Trump paid 28%, which was higher than Bernie and Obama, Thanks Maddow. Is this 2016 or 2020?

My guess is someone swiped his transcripts from the IRS computers. That is probably the only place where all his affiliated companies' taxes would also be available.

Yeah, they have to pick between two poison pills: 1) He is a criminal, 2) He doesn't have any taxable income.

So far, they seem to have chosen 2) as the defense. Of course, 2) makes him a loser, not a successful business man.

It will be interesting to see if this information is being leaked from - government sources or a member of the Trump Organization (Accounting firm, tax lawyers).
Government sources would be bad. From inside the Trump organization would be funny as hell.

LOL, what do you imagine you have here, other than LW failed 'gotcha' #48? Trump will pound your senile worthless candidate like a drum tomorrow. Maybe ask if Hunter paid taxes on the $3.5M he got from the Russians.

    1) The Trumps get a ton of their money from the Russians, so not sure why you are worried about that
    2) Do you have some kind of evidence he didn't pay taxes?

Any proof of the first assertion or do you mean "Russian" citizens as a whole and not the government of Russia like Hunter.

    Hunter is a private citizen.

Trump is President and he won't release his taxes like every other President.

And one crime doesn't excuse another.

Hunter was the son of the VP who had zero skills for any position other than a fry cook at McDs, yet still landed some major jobs he had no experience being in other than being a direct tie to the 2nd most powerful man in the world.
