Yes very “scientific” and of course much to be preferred over all those pesky scientists running independent drug trials throughout the world - the ones who found HCQ did diddly squat - which we KNEW because it failed trials in SARS 1, MERS, HIV etc

as for the “cheap medication” argument one of the only drugs that has found to reduce mortality by up to 30% is Dexamethasone which is one of the oldest cheapest drugs on the market

A large part of my investments are in mutual funds. When it comes down to it, I have no idea what individual companies I am invested in and I really don't care. They are just broad categories like medical equipment or real estate. The people managing the mutual funds move the investments around to get the best return. It is absurd to think that something that small would influence someone who is invested in mutual funds.

 

Because, ultimately it will not be his decision.

The complications with the heart were known before Trump suggested it's use for COVID-19. It was not something that somebody came up with just to oppose Trump.

For me is is not a matter of loyalty. I am 83 which puts me in the really vulnerable group. Based on the results of some of those vaccines being tested on thirty five thousand people with few problems, I would take it right now. I just figure the chances of it helping outweighs the chance of it hurting.

 

yep, have to weigh the risks, for you the risks may be justified

 

There is probably not a drug on the market which does not have bad side effects. I take nine different prescriptions. If I was concerned about the side effects, I would be a nervous wreck. I figure the good outweighs the bad. If I start seeing something which looks like a side effect, I stop taking it and call my doctor.

 

But this is the point - there ARE no measurable effect on your risk of getting CIVID or your recovery time if you rake HCQ

 

Different studies disagree and the side effects are minimal.
