We are conditioned to believe that our government is ready, willing and able to protect us from all sorts of things, including a virus.

Thus we are conditioned to believe in fantasy. The government is unable to protect us from anything. It does not have the ability to protect us from a virus or from death on the highways or from being assaulted or robbed by others.

Absolutely. I think all we can and should hope for is some kind of leadership on getting through the tough times.

The CDC is cowardly. Must be related to autopsies...

It's more related to the current administration.

Well, considering the CDC violated two oaths, the doctor one and the one the CDC director probably swore to hold the office, I would say their cowardice is their cowardice.

The whole purpose of swearing an oath, example, is so John Kerry can't claim he is innocent being Genghis Khan with sugar plums dancing in his head when he never request Captain's Mast to question his orders, which was his right under the UCMJ, when he said the orders were illegal. And the CDC director can resign, just like John Kerry could have resigned his commission.

So did the CDC director...resign, or just follow orders like good little NAZIS?

The CDC director is a Trump loyalist, personally nominated by Trump. Thus my assertion that the problem is more related to the current administration.

The problem is the direct result of planning by mad scientists and wicked billionaires including Bill Gates.

The Problem was generated and supported by the mainstream media, helping out its likely biggest single contributor, Big Pharma

There's $ in them thar' vaccines.

Easy to fix so the director has to be Senate confirmed. Start a petition. Anyway, doesn't let the CDC director off the hook for violation of oaths. There never can be a perfect system, which is why oaths of the little people are important.

Good heavens, if we started holding elected officials and bureaucrats responsible for violating their oaths and the Constitution, everybody in government would be fired.

The Senate these days is little more than a rubber stamp for Trump, so I don't see how the solution would be over there.
I think the solution is to kick Trump out of the White House so that the huge series of mistakes in Covid-19 management, many of them intentional, cease before they cause even more damage.

It's hard to say they'd really be affected by everything's going on. I wonder how it is up there.

If the solution is one issue voting, then someone buys beachfront property, zoned to build, and then being told afterward they couldn’t build on it, and the "liberal" Supreme Court is all in on that and more...a taking being for giving a property to a private developer for his wealth increase or “highest and best use,” or many issues too numerous to mention.

There are many issues that require other redundancy, hence the oaths; many planes are dangerous with one radio, one pilot, and one engine.

If you don’t want to go to war, you vote against it, and you stick with your preference: “I would have preferred that the President agree to the approach drafted by Senators Biden and Lugar because that resolution would authorize the use of force for the explicit purpose of disarming Iraq and countering the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.” (TEXT FROM THE SPEECH JOHN KERRY MADE ON THE SENATE FLOOR October 9, 2002)

“Here are the Democratic Senators who voted YEA on October 2002…Biden (D-DE), Yea…Clinton (D-NY), Yea…Kerry (D-MA), Yea”
    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/who-voted-to-authorize-fo_b_85652

It may be that you just do not like the Republic (Senate…) and would prefer a benevolent dictator of your choosing, the rest of us and our issues be damned.

It is why your information on the spread, vaccines, and aerosols…is so important, and I thank you for it, so regardless of the Republic’s vote (for more than one issue) the citizen can arm themselves with information and protect their lives when the Republic’s many issues get in the way of the one.

Probably true: "We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of [those that believe I violated my oath of office]." (Obama)

I'm definitely not just a one-issue voter, as I've lavishly demonstrated in my thread about being one of the last undecided voters (at the time) where we discussed all sorts of issues. But I do have my priorities. And I think that to call Biden a wannabe dictator when it is abundantly clear that we have currently a wannabe dictator named Trump, is really odd. Anyway, to prevent excesses, I've voted for Biden for president but I've voted Republican for senator and house representative. While my vote is only one vote and won't decide anything, if more people did like me we'd be better off.

Usually why I prefer to quote one sentence, that proves the point. So who was it that called Biden a wannabe dictator?

I don't know; whoever did it, is wrong. I got it from your post, so you should be the one answering the question about the source.
